"Contestants, it's time to draw lots."

After the staff made the announcement, Chandler stopped in his tracks. However, he didn't care that much, and he still continued to walk toward Helen. He was about to reunite with the person in front of him.

"Hi, Sutton," Chandler greeted first.

Helen lowered her cap and nodded without saying a word. That was her way of casually answering him.

Chandler couldn't hide the joy on his face. He took part in the competition because he found out that Sutton would be there. He didn't have high hopes for her to show up, but he really did manage to meet her that day.

"Sutton, which group are you in?"

Helen didn't answer him verbally. Instead, she held up two fingers. Chandler smiled and said encouragingly, "Well, good luck to you. I'll see you again after the race."

After saying that, Chandler walked in the other direction.

Helen didn't think that Chandler would notice her that much. At first, she was worried about his safety. Now that he was watching her, it would make things easier.

After a short while, a row of cool-looking race cars were on the tracks. With a shot from the starting pistol, the racers stepped onto the gas pedal at the same time, and the vehicles shot off from the starting line like arrows.

Helen tightly gripped the steering wheel, and her gaze was focused on the finish line's direction. After the starting pistol went off, all the race cars took off at once.

Helen kept her sights forward, and every distracting thought was gone. There was only the finish line in her mind.
