Soon, Helen was getting ahead of the others, and she was in the top three. Meanwhile, Chandler was ahead of her the whole time.

For the group races, as long as the racers were in the top three of the group, they would be able to advance to the final race. That was why Helen was driving steadily and wasn't in a rush.

While she drove, she listened to how the car was performing. So far, everything sounded normal, and she could finally stop worrying.

As the cars crossed the finish line, wave after wave of cheering surrounded them. Helen got first place in the group. Meanwhile, Chandler followed closely behind her and got second.

Helen sat in the car with her expression slightly grim. After she got out of the car, she saw the maintenance crew on standby. Helen waved at the crew. "Can you check if there's anything wrong with my car?"

Although Helen's voice wasn't loud, everyone around her heard her, and they came over to take a look.

The maintenance crew quickly nodded and started checking the car for Helen.

"Sutton, is there something wrong with your car?"

"It didn't break down, did it? You're first in the group and you're going to be in the final race. If there's something wrong with the car, how will you race?"

The crowd started asking about the car, but Helen just pursed her lips without saying a word. After the maintenance crew was done checking the vehicle, one of them said, "There's nothing wrong with the car."

It was a simple answer, but it made Helen feel worse. If there was nothing wrong with the car, she wondered if it meant that the men hadn't done anything to it yet.

That meant they might do it before the final race.

"I understand. Thank you." Helen said her thanks and closed the door. Then, Chandler walked toward her like an excited child. "Sutton, here are your keys."

He wasn't his usual self at all when he was in front of Sutton. It looked like he was a fanboy. Helen was surprised by how different he was acting.

After leaving the race, Helen got into the car, and her gaze slowly darkened.

She did hear that someone was going to do something to the car that day, but nothing happened at all. This made Helen frown. Suddenly, the phone in her pocket rang.

"Hey, want to join me at the bar?"

Helen said, "Sure, I'll be there in around ten minutes."

Paul thought she would say yes. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you here."

After Helen reached the bar, she went to the room upstairs right away. When Paul saw she had arrived, he quickly snuffed out the cigarette in his hand.

"You did well in the race today. Although I wasn't there, I still watched the livestream. Keep this up, and you'll definitely be the champion. However, I'm curious about something. You purposely took your car from me, so why did you change it right before the race began?"
