It was Christmas Day the next day.

When Helen woke up, she noticed that it had snowed outside. She exhaled and saw her breath in front of her.

It really was cold.

Helen put on a thick puffer jacket and looked like a burrito before going downstairs. The housekeeper was setting up the Christmas tree in the living room.

"Good morning, Ms. Helen."

Helen looked at the Christmas tree and happily asked, "This is a beautiful tree. Where did you get it from?"

"Mr. Jenson bought it last Christmas. Back then, Mr. Esmond…" Upon saying that, the housekeepers couldn't help but fall into silence. Then, one of them said, "Ever since Mr. Esmond passed away, it has been quiet in the house. I wanted to decorate the place during the festive season so that it can be lively again."

"In that case, let me help you," Helen suggested. The housekeepers quickly rejected her offer. "There's no need for that, Ms. Helen. We can do this ourselves."

However, Helen ignored them and picked up the decorations to start decorating the tree.

Andrian returned home with his team. When he saw what was happening, he felt warm on the inside for some reason.

However, when it came to Helen, he was still somewhat upset. After all, he thought Helen was just a village girl and that his brother was out of her league.

"Helen, Chandler asked me to take care of your engagement attire, and I'm here to take your measurements." Adrian sounded emotionless. It was as if he was unwillingly trying to complete a task.

Helen froze for a moment and said, "Give me a second. I'll be with you soon."

The housekeepers still had no idea what was going on. However, they never questioned their employer since they were only housekeepers. "Ms. Helen, you can leave this to me."

Helen gave them the decorations in her hands and walked toward Adrian after that.

Adrian looked at Helen from head to toe and hinted at his assistant, Tammy Jules, to start taking Helen's measurements. After Tammy saw Helen's hideous face, she couldn't stop herself from thinking about it.

Tammy had heard that was the woman who was about to be engaged to the head of the Newton family. She couldn't believe how ugly Helen looked. Tammy wondered if Chandler was out of his mind for picking such a hideous person to be his wife.

"Put your hands up," Tammy said coldly and started casually taking Helen's measurements with her tools. As she continued to take the measurements, she looked more and more upset.

Looking at the numbers she had recorded in her notebook, Tammy's gaze darkened. She didn't expect Helen's measurement to look that great.

However, it didn't matter to Tammy. A wonderful body could never fix a hideous face.

"I'm done, Mr. Newton," Tammy said to Adrian. The latter nodded and kept the notebook. "Do you have any preference in terms of design? You can tell me anything, and I'll incorporate it while I design it."

"I'm fine with anything, so do as you see fit. Just let me have a look after you're done with the design."

When Tammy heard what Helen had said, she was upset. She didn't care where she was and said directly, "Mr. Newton is great at designing. Many wealthy ladies have worn our clothes, and they've never complained about them before."

Hearing that she was trying to imply something else, Andrian quickly stopped her. "Tammy, you're done here. So, you should go back first."

"Mr. Newton!" Tammy was unwilling to let it slide. However, she didn't dare to disobey Adrian's words. So she obediently shut her mouth and left with her tools.

"Tyrone said he had a Christmas special to shoot, and he won't be joining us for dinner. Jenson also said he's not coming back for dinner, so we should be the only ones at home tonight," Helen said while passing the utensils to Chandler.

"Try them. Harper prepared them, and they are delicious." Helen took a piece of meat and put it in Chandler's bowl. Then, Chandler habitually picked it up and ate it. "It's good."

"Harper said you loved this the most. It looks like she knows you well."

Chandler looked up at Helen and casually asked, "Are you having your break soon?"

Helen answered while blinking her eyes, "Yes. We'll have a few days of break."

Chandler asked again, "Do you want to go out and have some fun?"

Helen looked at him with suspicion. "What are you…"

"I heard it recently snowed in Swentiland. Why don't we go skiing?"

Helen's heart started racing as she couldn't help feeling happy. She couldn't believe Chandler was asking her out at that moment.

"I'll… I'll think about it," Helen said after retracting her gaze.

However, Chandler wasn't giving her a chance to reject him. "I'll get Carles to make the arrangements, and we can go soon."

"But…" Helen wanted to say something else. Chandler raised his eyebrows and curiously looked at her. "Is there a problem?"
