No one would dare to touch Adrian's designs in the studio. However, Helen was actually cutting up his design. Claire thought she was being too daring.

Helen didn't know what was on Claire's mind, so she explained, "The materials inside don't work that well, and we need to change it. Please help me get a piece of cloth that's thin and light from the storage later. It doesn't have to be long. Three feet should be enough."

Claire hadn't returned to her senses yet, and she was looking at Helen with a complicated look.

Helen noticed Claire wasn't responding, so she asked, "Is there a problem?"

Claire suddenly remembered what Adrian told her earlier, and she quickly nodded. "No problem at all! I'll get it right away."

After saying that, Claire hurriedly ran off.

Helen looked at the gown in front of her. After cutting it, it had lost its shape. Then, she looked at the front of the gown before continuing her modifications with a needle.

When Claire returned, Helen was done fixing the front of the gown. Claire looked at the gown and thought it looked better than before.

"Ms. Spencer, I've brought the materials you asked for. Here you go," she said.

"Put it there first." As Helen spoke, she kept the needle away. Then, she grabbed the scissors again and cut another part of the gown. Her actions were so clean and smooth that Claire was afraid to blink because she didn't want to miss anything.

"Help me get some White Two threads," Helen said. Claire quickly returned to her senses and got the threads for Helen. After the latter took the threads, she marked the gown and started stitching it.

Helen didn't speak a lot during the whole process. However, everything she did was clean. Halfway through the modification, Claire left for the restroom for a break and also got herself a glass of water. While she was drinking, Adrian suddenly appeared beside her. "How are things going in there?"

Claire was shocked when Adrian asked her that out of nowhere. She quickly said, "Everything's good in there. There's no problem at all."

However, Adrian said, "That's not what I'm asking. Have you forgotten who I am? How is the gown now? Is it completely destroyed? Can we not salvage it anymore?"

Adrian was confused. "What do you mean?"

Claire thought he was acting dumb, so she said, "Mr. Newton, I've been in the industry for so many years, but I can't even compare to an outsider. It hurts my dignity. I can't take this anymore. I need to calm down."

After saying that, she walked away, leaving Adrian behind. He didn't understand what was going on at all, and he yelled behind her, "Hey! Explain yourself!"

However, only silence ensued.

Adrian thought things weren't as simple as he thought it was. He wondered if Helen really had something up her sleeves.

However, he didn't think it was a big deal if she was slightly capable.
