After school ended, Helen saw Chandler's car when she exited the building. The car door opened, and Chandler walked toward her. "Is class over?"

Helen nodded, and he held her hand and opened the door for her. Many students saw them and started whispering to each other.

Meanwhile, Helen calmly entered the car, and they slowly drove away.

"Are we going home?" Helen asked.

Chandler gently cleared his throat and secretly glanced at the note he prepared earlier. "Let's have dinner outside tonight. Then, we're going to catch a movie. I've already bought the tickets. It's a new romance movie."

Helen was surprised and had a feeling it was a date.

"Are you bringing me on a date?" she asked.

Chandler answered with a subtle nod, and Helen smiled. She looked forward to it.

Chandler brought Helen to a luxurious restaurant. Right as they took a seat and were about to order, a man approached them. "Chandler, it really is you! I thought I had mistaken someone else for you…"

Chandler slightly raised his eyebrows as he looked at the man. The man was his classmate from high school, Kenneth Clarke. They basically had no contact or interaction with each other after all these years. However, Chandler still greeted Kenneth since they were old classmates. "It's been a while, old friend."

Kenneth knew who Chandler was, and he had been competing with Chandler in secret. However, he could never win in this fight.

All Kenneth ever did was create his small company, and it was far from reaching the Newton Group's hundred years' worth of achievements. So, he was also secretly envious of Chandler.

It was as if Kenneth didn't sense that Chandler was upset.

Kenneth quickly said with a smile, "What are you saying, Mr. Newton? No matter what kind of woman you choose to be with, it doesn't matter to me. It's just that women should make their men look great. Aren't you worried about being embarrassed for bringing her out?"

Helen silently clenched her fists as she felt humiliated. She never thought her face would bring Chandler such humiliation.

"You…" Helen was just about to speak when Chandler interrupted her. He looked at her with a smile and poured a glass of drink for her. "It's just a mad dog barking. Don't mind him."

When Kenneth heard Chandler calling him a dog, he was furious. "Who are you calling a mad dog? We're old friends, aren't we? I even witnessed you trying your best to get the campus belle's attention back then! Are you seriously treating such an ugly woman like a treasure now?"
