When Helen arrived at school, she couldn't focus when she looked at her work. All she could think of since the night before was what she had seen the previous day.

At that moment, Celeste entered the class. She was earlier than usual, and the other students hadn't arrived yet. There were only two of them in the big empty class.

Celeste remembered what her cousin said to her and didn't feel as miserable as she did yesterday. Instead, she said to Helen, "As expected of the genius in the class. You sure arrived early."

Helen was already feeling frustrated, so she didn't feel like talking to Celeste at all.

However, Celeste wasn't going to stop there. "About yesterday, I've thought about it. Although I've started the rumor, I don't think I've affected you in any way. Besides, Chandler said I don't have to apologize anymore. So, we're even now. From now on, let's stay out of each other's ways."

When Helen heard Chandler's name, her gaze darkened.

She couldn't believe he would drop the matter just like that.

However, Celeste said with a smile, "Of course. Are you really expecting me to apologize to you in front of everyone? That'd be so embarrassing. Besides, Chandler has said I won't have to do it anymore. Don't you believe me?

"By the way, Margaret's my cousin, and she's Chandler's childhood sweetheart. If you hadn't come into the picture, they would've gotten married a long time ago. Regardless, Chandler still cares about my cousin. After learning that I was her cousin, he decided to drop the matter."

Helen watched Celeste speak nonstop, but she only understood the second half of what was said. Helen wondered if Celeste was going to be forgiven just because she was Margaret's cousin. Not only that, but Chandler even said Celeste didn't have to apologize anymore.

Helen clenched her fists silently but didn't say anything. Celeste didn't expect Helen to be able to hold in her anger.

After leaving the school, Helen called a taxi and went to Hotel Champagne. She looked at the time and saw that it was only 1:00 pm. According to Celeste, there were two hours left before the time of their date. So, Helen found a cafe opposite the hotel and ordered herself a coffee while she waited.

That noon, Chandler had just finished an international meeting. He looked at the time and noticed that it was time for lunch. So, he made a call. "Carles, come in."

Soon, someone knocked on the office door. "Mr. Chandler, were you looking for me?"

Chandler instructed, "Go to the restaurant opposite us and order two sets of food. Then, help me send one of them to Helen at school."

Carles nodded hurriedly. "Yes, Mr. Chandler. I'll do it right away."

After saying that, Carles was ready to leave. However, Chandler stopped him. "Forget it. I'll buy the food myself and go to her school later."
