Margaret wanted to deny the accusations, but she knew Adrian and Helen lacked concrete evidence to support their claims. Nevertheless, Margaret realized that anything she said now would likely be pointless.

But before she could finish, Claire suddenly barged into the room. "Mr. Newton, Ms. Spencer, I'm sorry that I lied..."

Helen frowned and looked at Claire.

"Yes, I did meet up with Ms. Leonard. She gave me a large sum of money, so I kept quiet. I owe you and Mr. Newton an apology."

Her confession came as a shock, and it fueled Margaret's anger. "Bitch, what the heck are you talking about?"

Claire was too shaken to think clearly. So, she quickly confessed everything. "Mr. Newton, I'm sorry. I was foolish and greedy.

"I took the money from Ms. Leonard, but I never imagined she was trying to steal Ms. Spencer's design..."

Adrian didn't even glance up or acknowledge her words. Instead, he uttered coldly, "Pack up and get out."

"Mr. Newton, please give me another chance," Claire pleaded.

Once they were gone, Adrian turned to Helen. "I'm sorry. It was my mistake that led to your drafts being leaked. I take full responsibility," he said sincerely.

She glanced at the drafts in her hand and tore them up. "They're just drafts, no big deal. True wisdom comes from within."

She then tapped her temple and remarked, "After all, they can't steal what's in here."

Adrian felt relieved by her response. He couldn't help but admire her.

He smiled and remarked, "Now I understand why Chandler picked you as his life partner. You've got wisdom to spare."
