"What do you mean, 'wisdom to spare'? I'm just as frustrated! Someone stole my perfectly designed draft."

Despite Helen's words, her disappointment seemed muted. After all, the draft was only half-finished for her. But it had earned her a significant favor from Adrian, and that was something money couldn't buy.

She added, "Alright, let's leave it at that then. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that the new draft might be a couple of days late."

Adrian nodded. "No problem. Just take your time."

"Oh, and speaking of Claire..." Helen acknowledged Claire's talent in design. She felt that if Claire were to be expelled from the studio, it would spell the end of her design career.

"She is my assistant and a member of our team. However, her actions are not tolerated by the company," Adrian stated firmly.

Helen grunted in acknowledgment. Though she couldn't help but mourn Claire's design talent, she had no sympathy for her plight whatsoever.

Helen returned to her office and sat back down in her chair. She stretched lazily before diving back into her sketches.

However, inspiration remained elusive, and she crumpled several sheets of paper in frustration.

Chandler didn't forget to knock before entering her office. But she was too engrossed in her drawings to notice.

So, he entered and gathered the crumpled papers. He smoothed them out and noticed that they were her unfinished sketches.

Startled by his footsteps, Helen snapped out of her reverie. "What brings you here?" she asked.

Chandler looked at her and remarked, "Do you realize what time it is? Shouldn't we be heading home?"

She scratched her head after she checked the time. "There's not much keeping me here. Let's go back together."

But he approached her and suggested, "You've been sketching for a while. How about a shoulder massage to unwind?"

The studio glowed brightly in the night as Helen finished adding the final touches to her sketch. With a satisfied smile, she leaned back and stretched. "Finally finished!"

She glanced and noticed Chandler still seated there with his legs crossed. He was holding a magazine that he hadn't flipped through for quite some time. Upon closer inspection, she realized he was actually fast asleep.

So, she quietly tiptoed over and tucked him in with a blanket. Just as she was about to reach for the door, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"Have you finished your sketch?"

Helen was startled by a hoarse voice breaking the silence. She quickly replied, "Yes, it's done. Let's go home."

Chandler pulled her into a tight embrace. "Then let me hold you a little longer."

Helen stood there and let herself be enveloped by his embrace. Suddenly, the studio lights turned off, and they were left in the darkness.
