After Helen came out from the studio, she browsed online and found a restaurant with great reviews. Then, she ordered some spicy dishes for herself. As she was eating, her phone suddenly rang.

It was an unknown number, so Helen hesitated before picking up the call.

"Hi. Who's this?"

A familiar voice came from the other side of the call. "It's me. Where are you now?"

When Helen heard the voice, she slowly returned to her senses. Then, she quickly asked, "How may I help you, Madam Newton?"

"I'm shopping at Moore Mall now. Come pick me up."

"But I'm—" Before Helen could finish her words, Priscilla interrupted her. "Are you unwilling? It's alright. Forget I've ever asked."

Helen helplessly sighed. "That was not what I meant. It's just that I still have something to take care of. Why don't you continue shopping? I'll go later."

"I'm giving you half an hour. If you're not here by then, prepare to face consequences."

After saying that, Priscilla hung up the phone right away. When Helen heard the call was ended, she instantly lost her appetite for the food in front of her.

After glancing at the time, Helen paid the bill and went straight to Moore Mall.

"Aunty Priscilla, will she really come?" a fashionable woman asked weakly as she grabbed Priscilla's arm.

Priscilla scoffed. "Well, I'm her mother-in-law now. So if she doesn't come, there's no need to continue this relationship anymore."

When Kiara heard that, she was elated inside, but she didn't show it on her face. Instead, she said sympathetically, "Actually, I think Chandler's a great guy. I just don't understand why he would get engaged with a village bumpkin."

Priscilla quickly grabbed her hand. "Kiki, you know how I've been best friends with your mother for years, right? I've long regarded you as my only daughter-in-law. As for Helen, she's just someone the old man at home picked for Chandler. Now that he's gone, this marriage naturally won't be happening."

"Really, Aunty Priscilla?"

Kiara said with a smile as well, "Hi. I've heard about you from Aunty Priscilla for a while now! You must be Chandler's fiancee, right? He sure is lucky to have a great-looking partner like you."

Seeing how nice Kiara was being, Helen had no choice but to say, "Thank you. You're pretty too!"

Kiara stopped talking to her and grabbed Priscilla's arm.

"Aunty Priscilla, I heard Chanel released a new product. Let's go take a look."

"Sure. Let's go."

The two women walked in front like mother and daughter. They didn't care about Helen at all as she stood behind them. Seeing what was happening, Helen frowned and followed them without a choice.

Soon, the three of them entered the Chanel store. Helen wasn't interested in the products there. Seeing how Priscilla and Kiara were enjoying themselves, Helen decided to take a seat in the resting area.

After a while, Kiara approached Helen with two bags. "Helen, take a look at these. Which one do you think looks better?"
