Helen's instinct told her that Marilyn was implying something else. However, she didn't dwell on it and said, "I'm fine."

The assistant sighed. "This is not the first time Quincey is looking for Mr. Newton. There have been multiple instances. Mr. Newton has always been unwilling to interact with them. Since the contract was one year long back then, we just put up with it. They didn't seem willing to give up until they got him.

"I've never seen such a shameless woman before. She looks innocent on the big screen, but she's like this behind the scenes."

Suddenly, she stopped talking as she looked at Adrian in fear, who was standing near them.

Adrian just said, "Get back to work."

The assistant got out of there in a hurry. When Helen returned to her senses, the assistant was already nowhere to be found.

Then, Adrian approached Helen and said, "Thank you, Helen! However, you don't have to worry about this in the future."

Helen was confused.

"Why are you tolerating her like this?"

Adrian explained, "Quincey is involved with underground dealings. I'm a legitimate businessman, and it would be unwise to mess with them."

Helen frowned deeper.

She would always be the last to leave, and she was used to it. Helen habitually locked the doors and left.

Right as she left the studio, a figure came out from the shadows and hurriedly put a bag over her head. Helen struggled to break free. But after a few seconds, she lost consciousness.

"Throw her in the trunk," a man said. Then, a few people quickly tossed Helen into their car before driving away. Everything happened in a flash.

In less than two minutes, they were long gone, and silence returned to the scene.
