Back at Champagne Residence, the doorbell for Helen's unit rang nonstop. However, there was no answer at all. Chandler looked at the time and wondered why she wasn't back yet when it was so late.

Then, he took out his phone to call Helen.

"Hello. The number you've called cannot be reached at the moment…"

Chandler frowned and called another number.

"Is Helen still at the studio?"

Adrian had just arrived home and was taking off his shoes in the foyer when he got Chandler's call. He thought about how he saw the lights were still on in Helen's office when he left.

"When I left, she was still there. But she should be gone by now. Chandler, if you're looking for her, you could've just called her."

"Her phone's turned off."

After saying that, Chandler hung up the call, and Adrian was left confused. The latter guessed Helen couldn't be reached because her phone was probably out of battery.

Suddenly, Adrian thought of something and had a terrible feeling. Then, he ran out in his slippers and didn't even bother putting his shoes back on.

Chandler drove to the studio. At that moment, there was no one in the huge building. He found the security guard and asked, "Did you see a woman leaving earlier?"

The guard thought about it and said, "You're talking about the one from the studio, right? That's weird. She would usually leave by now, but I haven't seen her yet today. She's probably still inside."

Chandler turned around and glanced at the studio again. He didn't know why, but he felt anxious. Chandler walked to the studio and noticed the doors were locked. He yelled Helen's name out loud, but there was no response at all.

At that moment, Adrian arrived in a rush. "Chandler, have you found Helen?"

When Helen woke up, she could feel her body shaking. Then, she realized her limbs were tied up, and she couldn't move at all. She couldn't even stretch her legs which had gone numb.

Then, Helen slowly realized that she was being kidnapped. The question was—who was the kidnapper?

Helen tried to struggle, but she didn't have the strength.

"The woman's awake." Helen heard a lustful man's voice and stopped what she was doing. She didn't even dare to make any sudden movement.

"That's good. I wouldn't want to do that with a corpse."
