"Zac, I don't want to see brothers turn against each other," Helen said to Zac.
With that, Helen left the restaurant. As she did so, several men blocked Zac, stopping him from following her.
After they escorted Helen away, Zac couldn't suppress his anger and smashed the tea cup before him.
...
After leaving the restaurant, the guards Chandler had arranged disappeared from Helen's sight. She headed straight to the Newton Group.
Her engagement to Chandler was known to all in Aguilisco, including the staff at Newton Group. She entered the Newton Group without difficulty, but couldn't find Chandler in his office.
Finally, Carles, who had come to get documents, saw her. "Ms. Spencer, Mr. Newton is in a meeting. Would you like something to drink?"
Helen shook her head.
"Then I'll go inform—"
"Let him finish his work." Helen cut Carles off.
She didn't come here to disturb Chandler. But Carles would not dare disobey Chandler. He informed Chandler that Helen had come. Chandler immediately dismissed the meeting.
Carles watched him depart with an amused smile. Sure enough, Helen was something else to him.
"Why didn't you tell me?" As Helen picked up a magazine to read, she was startled by Chandler's sudden, low, questioning voice.
"Reckless?" Chandler scoffed coldly.
Helen understood completely. "If Mr. Newton Senior were still here, he wouldn't want to see you and Zac reach this point today. If you do not care about your brother, would Zac still act this way?" Helen spoke frankly.
"I gave him a second chance. But he keeps challenging my limits. How can I allow this?" Chandler's expression darkened, his words firm and resolute.
Zac refused to back down, while Chandler… Alas! Helen was caught in the middle. What a dilemma!
"Helen, this has nothing to do with you. Don't take it on yourself," Chandler said. "I've always been aware that Zac has been trying to one-up me."
"But I can't watch you two destroy each other!"
