Callie had not had any food since the night before, and she was so hungry she could eat a horse.

Helen laughed at her exaggeration. "Don't worry, I still can afford a meal. Eat as much as you want to nourish your body. Who knows I may need your help to copy notes again?"

In the end, the table was full of dishes. Helen and Michelle just took a few bites and watched Callie eating.

While touching up her makeup, Helen looked into the mirror and applied a layer of lipstick. She inadvertently glanced sideways and frowned right away.
