Michelle came out of the bathroom and saw Helen leaving, so she called Chandler.

Chandler would pick up the calls related to Helen in a matter of seconds. "What's the matter?"

"Ms. Spencer is a bit nosy," Michelle said mockingly.

Chandler recalled Samantha leaving the hospital without permission and knew immediately what was going on. "How would you be employed if she weren't so?"

Michelle was baffled. "My job is to protect Ms. Spencer from being hurt by others, but if she looks for trouble on her own and gets hurt, I won't be responsible for it."

Chandler typed "extra pay" on the screen calmly.

"Deal." Michelle ended the call and ran after Helen after paying the bill for Callie.

Helen had been chasing them for a block before seeing Ronald lead Samantha into an obscure alley.

She slowed down and followed them to the entrance of the alley. Stretching her neck, she was about to peep when she suddenly heard someone struggling in the alley.

With a closer look, she saw several men dressed in suits in the alley. Samantha's limbs were bound, and her mouth was taped shut. The men were slowly dragging her toward the other end of the alley.

"What are you doing? Let go of her!" Samantha's life was at stake, so Helen stood out without any hesitation, hoping to scare those people.

But the men did not stop. Only Ronald turned around slowly, flashing her a smirk and leaving quickly.

An hour later, the MPV went into an area with complicated road systems. Helen and Michelle had been following closely, but they still lost Ronald at a crossroads.

They had no choice but to get out of the car and ask the pedestrians before proceeding on foot.

Eventually, they found Ronald's car in front of an old mansion. Just as they were about to go up, the MPV suddenly started and sped off.

As they hurried to the front of the mansion, the MPV turned a corner and once again disappeared from their sight. Obviously, they were unable to catch up with it on foot.

"Forget it." Helen caught her breath and looked at the unclosed door. "Let's go inside and have a look."

Michelle nodded and walked before Helen, pushing the rotten wooden door open.
