Faye clenched her fists as she watched Helen and Melody embrace each other in tears.

Over the last ten years, she'd forced herself to do better and be successful, but neither Daphne nor Melody paid her any attention.

In contrast, Helen was just an estranged child, inferior to her in everything, yet Melody treated her like she was a treasure.

Despite her resentment, Faye forced herself to calm down. She stepped forward and said, "Mom, we should be more careful. This is important, after all. I miss Bianca too, but we all know that she's dead.

"Now, Helen is claiming to be Bianca out of nowhere. How do we know that she's speaking the truth?"

"Shut up! I would know if she wasn't Bianca!" Melody let go of Helen, but she kept a tight grip on her hands. "Helen is Bee," she said stubbornly. "She's Bee. She's my daughter!"

Faye was taken aback by her aggressive tone. A hint of spite flashed in her eyes, only to disappear quickly. "This is not up to you, Mom. This concerns the entire Boston family!"

"It's not up to you, either," Helen said, inexplicably annoyed.

"Come on, Ms. Boston," Chandler said immediately. "This is a pretty private space. It's too small for all of us to be here."

Faye glanced around at the bodyguards in the yard angrily. She knew that she couldn't argue with Chandler, so she left.

As soon as she did, Chandler's men left as well.

The rest of them went back to the living room and sat on the couch. Only then did Helen explain why there had been two paternity test reports.

"What an asshole!" Charlie banged his fist on the table angrily. "Did they really think Helen would need the Boston family's money?"

No one dared to speak a word.

Bruce and Christine looked upset. If Helen wasn't getting anything from the Boston family, did that mean that she was waiting to get her inheritance from the Spencer family?

They would never let her do that.

Melody froze at Chandler's words. It took her a while to come back to her senses. When she did, she apologized fervently to Helen.

"I didn't mean that, Bee. I just feel like I owe you a lot, so I wanted to give you everything you deserve. I'm not doing this for myself. I'm really not."

She rambled on nervously. She seemed to have turned back into the spineless woman she used to be, babbling incomprehensibly like a panicked child.

"I know," Helen said, putting a hand on Melody's, comforting her. "I didn't think you were."

"Then…" Melody hesitated. "Will you accept me as your mother?"

Everything had happened so quickly that she'd forgotten to ask Helen how she felt. In retrospect, this was rather disrespectful to Helen.

"It doesn't matter whether I accept you or not. The fact remains that I am your daughter," Helen said. Her expression was blank and unreadable.
