"I will stay here tonight." Helen pulled her hand out of Melody's surreptitiously and made an excuse to leave. "I need some rest. I'll head back to my room now."

"Go on," Slyvia said.

Helen nodded at them before going back to her room.

Once she left, Charlie sighed. "She's still hung up on her past."

Slyvia looked at him sadly and nodded.

Melody, on the other hand, appeared nervous. "I… Does Helen hate me?"

"Just give her some time," Charlie replied.

"I'll go check on her," Chandler said as he walked out.

Outside Helen's door, Chandler paused before knocking. He did not get any reply.

After thinking for a moment, he pushed open the door and entered the room.

Helen was sitting at the dressing table, staring blankly at herself in the mirror.

Chandler walked over and stood behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Are you okay?"

"Aren't we already engaged?" Helen asked.

"I want you to marry me." Chandler raised his voice slightly, still looking at her earnestly.

Helen's expression finally changed. Even though they could see each other through the mirror, she still turned her head to look into Chandler's eyes. "Are you sure you want to marry me?"

Chandler laughed. "I've never been more sure."

"You might change your mind in the future."

"I'm worried that you might. Therefore, before either of us changes our mind, please marry me, Helen. I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
