It appeared that Faye was ready to abandon both Aaron and Cameron. As her fiancé, Ronald couldn't help but ponder how much longer he could endure.

Ronald was expected to assist Faye in managing the issues involving Aaron and Cameron to win her favor. However, he was unsure about what might happen once these matters were resolved.

Furthermore, Faye had begun collecting evidence of Ronald's threats against her, prompting him to take proactive measures.

Outside the door, a shadow passed over Helen's face.

She impatiently glanced at her phone to check the time, her demeanor softening as she quietly said, "They're here."

No one else understood the meaning behind her words.

Suddenly, one of the guards spoke firmly, "I urge you not to wait any longer. Access to this hospital is restricted, and there are higher authorities involved beyond the director. Do you understand?"

"Yeah," Helen replied impassively.

Shortly after, their attention was drawn by the sound of a car pulling up behind them. As they turned toward the commotion, they noticed several luxury cars slowly coming to a stop.

The car door swung open, and out stepped a distinguished middle-aged man wearing glasses.

Sebastian Puckett swiftly made his way through the crowd and paused in front of Helen. His tone held a trace of reproach as he said, "You've been in Glendale all this time. Why didn't you reach out to me?"

"I've been busy," Helen replied curtly.

"Regardless, there's always time for a meal. Mrs. Puckett has been asking about you. You need to reserve a day this month to visit us!" Sebastian urged.

"We'll discuss it later," Helen deflected, gesturing toward the entrance of Oakwood Hospital. "Let's handle this first. It's embarrassing that there are still loose ends in your jurisdiction."

Helen's last remarks dripped with sarcasm, prompting Sebastian to purse his lips. "I've been in this role for less than two months. Do you think I'm Superman or something?"

The guard trembled, his legs shaking as he stared down the barrels of the pistols. He stammered nervously, "I'll open it, I'll open it! Please, just put those guns away. I'll open the gate for you immediately!"

Walter nodded subtly, signaling the two armed men to step back.

After narrowly escaping the tense situation, the guard instinctively patted his chest before dropping to his knees in front of Sebastian.

"Forgive me, Mr. Puckett, I didn't recognize you! Please spare me. I'm just a gatekeeper; I have no involvement in what happens inside!"

Witnessing the scene, Melody pulled Helen aside, whispering, "Bee, how do you know Mr. Puckett?"

"Um…" Helen hesitated, feigning ignorance. "I don't really know him. I just reported the issue over the phone."

Melody regarded Helen skeptically, clearly unconvinced. If anyone could easily reach the mayor, he'd spend his entire day answering calls rather than getting any work done.
