"Ms. Spencer!" Bernard ran over with great excitement and was about to embrace Helen with open arms.

Just then, Helen took out a needle and inserted it into his neck.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Bernard froze and fell forward right in front of Jenson.

Jenson burst out laughing and mocked him, "Dr. Meloche, do you know how many people want to be Helen's apprentice? You should get in the line."

"Damn you, Jenson. Help me up quickly!" Bernard roared.

"Dr. Meloche, be humble when you're asking for a favor," Jenson said nastily.

Bernard gritted his teeth as he changed his expression and tone, saying sweetly, "Jenson, please help me."

"That's more like it." Delighted, Jenson got up to remove the needle from Bernard's neck and help him up.

Bernard was free to move once the needle was removed. Shaking off Jenson's hands, Bernard got up by himself and said, "Go away!"

"Hey, you do change your attitudes quickly," Jenson said with disappointment.

Bernard rolled his eyes at Jenson before turning to catch up with Helen. "Ms. Spencer."

"Stop!" Helen extended her hand to stop him. "I'm not interested in taking on an apprentice. Go and learn from someone else."

"No, I just want to learn from you. I won't go to work from tomorrow onward. I will stick with you," Bernard said coyly.

Chandler's expression turned cold as he grabbed Bernard by the collar and flung him aside. He then narrowed his eyes, his fury evident.

Bernard immediately understood Chandler's warning and complained in a low voice.

Was there a need to guard against him? Chandler was overly possessive!

"And Vulture has accepted the order this time around. Do you think that there is an internal conflict within the headquarters?" Ambrose speculated.

Helen remained silent. It was understandable for Ambrose to say that. Anyone would have thought that way when three of the four aces had already faced off against each other.

Pursing her lips, her eyes flickered with resolute killing intent.

She was not interested in SK Group's internal conflict. However, since those involved dared to hunt her down, they would have to pay the price.

Tit for tat.

Seeing that Helen didn't respond for some time, Ambrose suggested, "Shall we throw them a bone to divert their attention while we buy Magpie and Lord Hela some time?"

He believed that Helen dealt with him last time because of her resentment against SK Group, so she shouldn't want SK Group to triumph in this situation.
