Monique POV
I've been calling Cain how many times but he is not answering it. I thought we would have our lunch together with his friend but he is not answering my calls.
Monique was so bored in her office that she wanted to go on a food trip because she had been busy lately and only now did she have time again.
As she was arranging sales reports for this month when her phone suddenly rang, she looked at it and saw Cain was the caller.
"Hey Cain! I've been calling you multiple times." she exclaimed after answering the call.
"I'm sorry Nique, I rushed Jewel to the hospital that's why I wasn't available to answer your call." Cain explained on other line
"Why? What happened?" She asked.
"I don't really know what really happened yet, I just saw Jewel unconscious when I got back to our condo." He said.
"I'm coming over there, send me the address. Okay?"
"Alright!" he said as the call went down.
After a few minutes my phone beeped and I received a message from Cain containing the address of the hospital where they were. I know how precious that Jewel is to Cain, I can see how he was worried about her and how he took care of her. I just hope that one day Cain will be like that to me.
Unbeknownst to the young man Cain that Monique has feelings for him, since the death of her boyfriend Daven she thinks that she will never fall in love again, but when she meets this guy and becomes friends with Cain Fuentabella she feels something towards the guy. At first she didn’t pay attention to it because she still convinced herself that Daven was still the one she loved.
Until later, she proved to herself that she really likes the young man, she even visited Daven just to hang out. She knew that her ex -boyfriend would understand it if she fell in love with someone else because she knew that Daven would be happy seeing her happy and not mourning for the past.
Monique had just finished what she needed to do before deciding to arrange her belongings and leave to go to the hospital, she knew Cain now needed sympathy.
Jewel's POV
I woke up with pure white I could see, I closed my eyes a few more times. And when I could see clearly, I knew where I was.
I saw Cain staring at me intently now, I know that he was angry based on his stare at me as well.
"C-cain." I called but I heard nothing from him.
"C-cain, I'm sorry." I nodded
