Xiang Yu began to walk out of the Bureau office, his steps measured and deliberate. Han Xin’s hand rested gently on the back of his neck, a subtle yet unmistakable gesture of protection. His eyes, sharp and unyielding, glared at the people around them, daring anyone to challenge their departure. The tension in the air was palpable, a silent acknowledgement of the power dynamics at play.

As soon as they were gone, Chief Xi stood frozen, his mind racing to process what he had just witnessed. Agent Shen, still reeling from the shock, broke the silence. "Did I see that right?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Agent Lu, who had been nursing a quiet jealousy towards Han Xin, now felt so fuckin stupid. He walked into the office, shaking his head in disbelief. "So, he is gay. Ha, who would have thought?" he muttered, more to himself than anyone else.

Chief Xi narrowed his eyes, deep in thought. His primary objective in sending Peng Xiu to Han Xin had been clear: to get close enough to him to establish a relationship, thereby gaining access to his office and home. This was why he had allowed Peng Xiu to continue her mission, and she had rapidly climbed the ranks. Chief Xi had assumed that Han Xin was enchanted by her beauty. He had been ecstatic when he saw the hickeys on Han Xin’s neck, believing that Peng Xiu had succeeded. But he was wrong. It had never been Peng Xiu. Han Xin was into men, and he was dating Xiang Yu. Massaging his forehead, Chief Xi sighed deeply. "Get out. I need to think," he ordered, his voice heavy with frustration.

Agent Lu and Agent Shen left the office, closing the door behind them. As they walked down the hallway, Agent Lu adopted a mocking tone. "Who do you think is the attacker and who is the one receiver?
