Xiang Yu blinked, his mind still hazy from the intense kiss. He ran his tongue over his swollen lips, tasting the lingering flavour of Han Xin. His body ached for more, but the interruption had broken the spell.

Han Xin lowered the window, his expression now a mix of frustration and annoyance. Ran Lan’s face appeared, his eyes wide with an apology. "Master Han, I am so sorry to disturb you, but it’s Han Zhan. He said something urgent has come up."

Han Xin’s jaw clenched, and he took a moment to compose himself. He cleared his throat, his hand smoothing down his dishevelled hair. "I will take the call," he said, his voice steady despite the obvious.

Xiang Yu, still dazed, reached up to fix his own hair, which had fallen messily across his forehead during the heated exchange. He couldn’t help but glance at Han Xin’s crotch, the evidence of his desire straining against the fabric.

Han Xin took the phone from Ran Lan and cleared his throat. "What’s wrong?" His expression immediately changed hearing Han Zhan’s panicked voice through the phone, "Ah-Xin, we are under attack. We are driving on the highway. We, shit, we had just picked up the twins from school and fell under heavy fire. We need some fuckin backup."

Han Zhan had always travelled with a convoy, two cars in front and two behind, ensuring maximum security when picking up the twins. This afternoon was no different. The roar of the engine echoed through the bulletproof car as Han Zhan navigated the winding road with precision. Lian and Mei sat in the back excited about going to the amusement park. Little Bai, in the passenger seat, chatted casually about the rides they were going to try.

The two security SUVs flanked them, one in front and one behind, a fortress on wheels. The other two cars were filled with bodyguards, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of trouble.

They had only been driving for ten minutes when four black SUVs appeared out of nowhere, flanking their motorcade. Han Zhan grabbed his phone, his fingers trembling as he dialled Han Xin. The line clicked, and Ran Lan’s calm voice answered. Han Zhan demanded to speak to Han Xin and when his cousin’s voice came through the phone he told him what was going on. After a while he thrust the phone at Little Bai. Little Bai nodded, his head still low, and took the phone. His fingers flew over the screen, sending their coordinates. Behind them, one of their security cars rammed an attacking SUV, forcing it off the guard rail. The explosion lit up the afternoon sky, a fiery testament to their desperate struggle. The convoy sped down the almost empty road, the tyres screeching against the asphalt.
