Chapter 251: Swift rescue

"Han Zhan!" Die Banhan called out. Han Zhan turned, his eyes blazing with fury at the sight of Little Bai on his knees, tears streaming down his face. One of the men took advantage of Han Zhan’s distraction, kicking him to the ground. Han Zhan clenched his fists, his voice a roar of defiance. "Let him go!"

Die Banhan sneered, his eyes glinting with malice. "I am here for you and these two girls... as for this kid, he is of no use to me." He gestured for his henchman to finish the job. Just then, a dagger flew through the air, embedding itself in the man’s back. He spun around, roaring in pain, as Lian fell to the ground. She quickly found her footing, glaring at him with a devilish grin, another dagger ready in her hand.

Everyone froze for a moment, stunned by the sudden turn of events. Mei darted past the man, her blade slicing through his Achilles tendon blood splattering everywhere. He collapsed, screaming in agony. Lian pressed her blade to his throat, her voice cold and steady. "One more step and it’s lights out."

The two girls wore haunting expressions, like evil spirits possessing their small bodies. Die Banhan was momentarily shocked, but he quickly regained his composure. Despite their ferocity, they were still just children. He signalled his men to advance.

As the men rushed forward, a gunshot echoed through the factory. One of the attackers dropped, a bullet hole in his forehead. Die Banhan looked up, spotting a sniper on the roof. "There! Get him!" he barked. But before his men could react, another shot rang out, and the man next to him fell.

Panic spread among Die Banhan’s men. Three of them bolted into the abandoned factory, seeking cover. The others tried to capture Lian and Mei, but each time they reached out, the sniper picked them off one by one. Bullets flew towards the sniper, but they missed miserably, and the sniper retaliated with deadly precision.

Suddenly, five cars roared into the factory grounds, their speed startling everyone. Han Xin’s car rammed into Die Banhan’s vehicle, sending it skidding. Die Banhan, who had been about to get into the car, jumped away just in time. Han Xin emerged, guns blazing, targeting Die Banhan as he ran towards another car.

The sniper took out the tyres of Die Banhan’s escape vehicle, forcing him to dive behind it for cover. He swore under his breath, realizing he was trapped. The sound of gunfire and the cries of his men filled the air, but Die Banhan remained hidden his breathing heavy. "Fuck!" he swore in rage, "That bitch better not have double-crossed him otherwise, I will skin her alive."
