Chapter 349: Yu Yu, we caught the rat

Xiang Yu entered his bed chambers, the soft glow of the dim wall lights casting flickering shadows on the walls. As he unbuttoned the third button of his shirt, he felt the familiar weight of the day slip from his shoulders. But the moment he stepped further into the room, he froze.

In the dim light, a figure sat in the chair staring at him like a predator lurking in the dark. A rat trap was stuck to Han Xin’s leg, its cruel jaws pinching the fabric of his trousers.

Xiang Yu’s heart raced, not just from surprise but from the intoxicating scent that filled the air. It enveloped him like a warm blanket, stirring something deep within. Suddenly, he felt hot and uncomfortable, his mind racing with confusion.

Hex exclaimed, his voice a mix of excitement and relief. "Yu Yu, we caught the rat!"

Han Xin eyes sparkled mischievously, but his brow furrowed slightly, clearly unimpressed. Hearing the name "Yu Yu" come from Hex gnawed at Han Xin’s soul more than the trap itself.

Xiang Yu quickly moved towards Han Xin, kneeling beside him. "What happened?" Xiang Yu asked, the worry evident in his voice. He reached for the trap, his fingers brushing against Han Xin’s leg. The question lingered in the air. How did Han Xin find himself in this predicament?

Earlier on after their call had ended, Han Xin had felt the sting of Xiang Yu’s words and in a fit of anger, he had gone hunting for the body pillow. The only thing that mattered to Xiang Yu. He had intended to increase the tear in it, to provoke but he had not anticipated that Xiang Yu would have set up rat traps inside the room.

The steward had followed Xiang Yu’s orders and set the traps while he was away. Han Xin knew he could easily free himself but he chose to wait. He wanted to know what Xiang Yu was thinking setting these up which was why he was sitting in partial darkness with a rat trap on his leg.

"Hex, how do you remove this?" Xiang Yu asked, his brow furrowed in concentration as he examined the trap.

"I don’t know how to remove it," Hex replied, crossing his arms, clearly unenthusiastic about helping. "I didn’t read the manual."

"Then read it," Xiang Yu snapped, frustration creeping into his tone. He turned his attention back to Han Xin, his voice softening. "Does it hurt?"

Han Xin, sitting with his legs spread wide, a finger gently rubbing his lower lip, shook his head. "No," he replied, his voice low and husky, sending a shiver down Xiang Yu’s spine.

Xiang Yu’s hands trembled slightly as he tried to unlock the trap, their eyes locking for a brief moment. The air was thick with tension and desire as Xiang Yu knelt before Han Xin, their bodies mere inches apart.

Han Xin’s pheromones lingered on Xiang Yu’s nose. The intoxicating aroma clouded Xiang Yu’s senses, making it hard for him to focus on the task at hand. The proximity was both thrilling and unnerving.

Xiang Yu’s hands, skilled and graceful, carefully manipulated the trap’s release, his fingers brushing against Han Xin’s skin. Han Xin’s breath quickened, his body reacting to the touch, even in this awkward situation.

"Why is it so freaking hard?" Xiang Yu muttered, his brow furrowing in concentration.
