Ethan chuckled in amusement. "You're not even trying to sound sincere anymore, are you?"

Josephine let out a helpless smile. "I'm just not in the mood for it now."

Either Ethan's driving skills had improved, or he simply knew she was in a rush—he drove much faster this time. They arrived at the destination in under 30 minutes.
