As they left earlier, they could still see the sign at the entrance of Waldo House’s courtyard from a distance: Moonlight Manor. That was specifically for Jessica

Now, Priscilla had completely clouded Waldo’s judgment. He was so caught up in something new that he’d forgotten the affection he once had for Jessica. But such things never lasted. Once the novelty failed, so would his interest.

“What if Prince Waldo realizes that the woman he truly loves is still Jessica? Selma said anxiously. “If that happent, it won’t be easy for Prince Waldo to

deal with her.”

Consort Adele sneered. “Do you think I let her have that chance?”

“Jessica specifically requested that Priscilla attend the banquet. That part is true, if he just asks around a little, it won’t be hard for him to uncover. He won’t be able to ignore it,”

She thought, ‘Some things are like that–once one truth is revealed, the cracks in trust widen, and other things are judged through a biased lens.

“However, I can’t stand seeing that bitch Jessica living so carefree, Consort Adele said.

Consort Adele thought for a moment, then said suddenly, “The Yates family is still so quiet. They must have hidden General Algernon there, letting him rest and recover. He hasn’t been out for days. He probably doesn’t even know what’s happening with his grandson.”

“Your Highness means…?” Selma understood right away. “But Jessica is so crafty. To keep General Algemon from hearing anything that might upset him, she’s probably gone to great lengths to guard the place. We can’t risk sending anyone ourselves.”

The King had just been furious the other day, if Consort Adele made any move now, even the slightest stir could make the King angry with her again. This matter must not be linked to Consort Adele in any way.

Consort Adele looked at her. “Do you have any suggestions?”

Jessica couldn’t shake the feeling of unease today

“Don’t worry. No matter what Prince Leon plans to do, I will always be by your side.” Garbisch, walking beside her, could easily sense her anxiety.

But as Jessica stepped out of the carriage, she turned to give Nolan a few instructions
