"Wasn't someone just making a big fuss, demanding evidence and a reckoning?"

She crossed her arms, "Now that we have the surveillance footage, why the hurry to leave? Evelina, you're not feeling guilty, are you?"

Asher snorted disdainfully, "Guilty? Eve is just too hurt and needs to go to the hospital for treatment."

"Then let's wait for the surveillance footage to be reviewed. It won't take long anyway, and it's not like she's dying."

Orion spoke softly, "I could stop them."
