“H-How did you contact Mr. Zabinski and Mr. Livingston to ask them to go here?” Anastasia asked while she wiped away her tears after she took Jason to the corner in a panic.

“Spencer is my mentor.” Jason smiled and added, “They happened to be in Hork, so I called them here.”

After she heard that, Anastasia lowered her head with a guilty conscience and whispered, “It turns out that you and Samuel are not in that relationship…”

“What relationship?” Jason was stunned for a moment and then laughed. “What are you thinking about? No wonder you were so hostile toward Samuel. Did you suspect me… with him?”

Anastasia made Jason laugh in exasperation.

“I-I was misled by gossip,” Anastasia said in shame with her head low.

“I don’t like men,” Jason clarified his innocent.

Anastasia remained silent and felt like she hid herself out of embarrassment. “Thank you…”

She thought, “It’s all thanks to Jason today. Otherwise, my art exhibition might not be able to go on smoothly.”

“I’ve been looking for Sienna for so long and couldn’t find her. I guessed she must be waiting for your art exhibition day. As expected, my speculation is correct.” Jason snorted coldly and thought, “Fortunately, I had been well-prepared for it.”

“Anastasia…” Jason looked at Anastasia firmly. “We have the video now. Are you still afraid?”

Jason knew that Anastasia was afraid that the video would expose to the public and that Alastor would dislike her after he found it out. That was why she did not take action in the past.

Jason wondered if she felt afraid of it now.

Anastasia shook her head and replied, “No, I’m not.”

“As long as you made up your mind, I will always be with you, no matter what you have decided.” Jason held Anastasia’s wrist

and told her not to be afraid.

He would respect her decision on whether she had wanted to lodge a police report or destroy it.

“Thank you…” Anastasia’s eyes reddened. However, she dared not to cry, even though she wanted.

“Don’t be afraid. I’m here for you. I’ve told you that I would always protect you.” Jason pressed Anastasia’s head into his

arms.

“I’d told you to keep away from me and let you stay out of my business. Why can’t you listen?” Anastasia asked in tears.

“I can’t bear to leave you alone.” Jason sighed and continued, “Since you brought me home six years ago, I can’t leave you alone.”
