Charlotte stood up, gesturing to the others, then walked out the door and said, "Madam Harrison, I'm fine now. How about you? How's your health recently?"

Roxanne smiled slightly, "I'm the same as always. But I do know that you and Arthur have completed the formalities. Charlotte, I really like you. You deserve someone better. That brat doesn't deserve you. Once you get the divorce certificate, don't even think about going back to him, no matter what he does."

Charlotte couldn't help but smile, "Alright, I'll listen to you."

Roxanne continued, "When you have time, come to Harrison Villa for a meal. Now that you've divorced that brat, it'll be hard to see you in the future."

Her tone carried a hint of sadness.

Charlotte couldn't stand it when Roxanne spoke like that. She said, "I'll come over in a few days, Madam Harrison. Don't worry. Although I no longer have anything to do with him, you're still my friend. I'll still visit you often."

Roxanne smiled, "Then that's best. We'll just mind our own business. That brat has nothing to do with us."

"Exactly." Charlotte's expression softened, her eyes and smile radiating warmth and gentleness. Her voice was light and kind.

Arthur stood at the end of the hallway, a cigarette between his fingers, watching her with a darkened face as she spoke.

After a few more words, she hung up the phone, put it away, and turned toward the private room. But just then, a server carrying hot soup walked past her. She didn't notice and bumped into the server as she turned, causing the soup to spill.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her arm, pulling her away. The hot soup didn't spill on her, not a single drop. Instead, the person who pulled her away got some of it splashed on them.

The server, scared, quickly apologized, "Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to..."

"It's fine."

Arthur flicked his hand and motioned for the server to leave.

Charlotte blinked at him, then said, "Thank you."

As soon as the words left her mouth, she turned to walk away.
