“What are you doing?” I almost jump out of my seat when Mackenzie speaks up. 

“How did you get in here?” 1 spin around to see her standing in the bathroom doorway 

“You’re going to need a new window in the bathroom,” she says and comes over to see what I’m looking at. “That’s her? She’s stunning. His little spiral makes sense now,” 

“I didn’t think you were going to come.” I admit. She looks over the mess I made opening up all the boxes. 

“Have you spoken to him?” is all she asks, 

“No, they’ve been asleep since we arrived,” I shut down my computer and turn around to give her my undivided attention. 

My heart is beating a little faster than normal. I know what comes next has to be her choice and as I watch her make space to sit down on the couch, I have no fucking idea where this is going Mackenzie is a wild card and her wolf always has the last

“Why didn’t you just kill him with the rest of them?” she asks softly. 

“I honestly thought we were going to, but he had them with him. Do you know why? Why are these two significant to him out of the rest?” 

The little girl is his daughter. Subject F–Alphal. She’s genetically enhanced to blend in anywhere. He replicated the coding for the servant bots Lycan Tech will be releasing a couple of weeks to help him with genetic engineering. She probably has some insane adapting genes in her.
