“Did you go for a checkup?” Henry looked deeply into her eyes.

Monique was surprised as she looked at Henry. She blinked. Was she dreaming?

She pursed her lips and shook her head, then added, “I’m fine!”

He simply scanned her with his eyes; her hair was still wet, as were her clothes. He looked at the nurse, who was still standing at the entrance and said, “Get me a set of patient’s clothes, and get a doctor here to do a checkup on her. I want the best female doctor in this hospital.”

“Okay,” the nurse quickly replied.

Although the nurse did not know who that man was, he had an aura about him and his words were absolute; nobody could reject him. Thus, they had to follow his orders. Such handsome and faithful men were rare in this world; the anxious look he had earlier proved that he loved this woman dearly. This woman probably saved the entire galaxy in her past life; she was so envious.

Other than Logan, who was passed out in the ward, the two of them were the only people left in the room. Henry did not say a word. He looked at her and his lips moved a bit. He wanted to apologize; when he saw those pictures, he recalled the moment they were in Celestial Town. She was so close to that man. If he did not arrive in time, the one who ended up sleeping in her bed might be that man. The crisis he felt made him feel uneasy, and the strong desire to dominate her made him do such a reckless thing.

Monique’s hair stood on the end while he looked at her; she felt uneasy. Her eyes rolled around and asked, “Why are you here?”
