Mr Knight and I were straight off the plane and into meetings with Mr Blair. We'll technically he was the one that was in meetings,I was sat at a desk outside the office working from there. It's been a couple of hours since we've landed and so far he hasn't needed me at all. It makes me think that Mr Knight has asked me here for totally different reasons other than work.
That man is sure trying his Luck!!
He's coming onto me,even though I've tried to make to tell him that nothing can happen. But after that Kiss-I guess he thinks maybe a little push and I would be up for more.
"Jamie.."Mr Knight deep voice called my name as he walked towards my desk. He handed me a stack of pages. More printing I'm guessing."I need a copy of these, the printing room is down the hall."
"Sure,No problem."I looked down at the stack to check how many pages I needed to print. I was happy for the work-It's better than sitting at my desk.
"There's a coffee shop down in the lobby and I could do with a refuel. Make it a double shot."He winked at me.
Did he really invite me here to bring him Coffee and do some printing?? That's rather annoying since I could have had plans tonight-But he insisted that I had to come.
I picked up the stack of pages and got ready to leave my desk."Um-Do you want me to bring you back some Lunch while I'm down there? You haven't eaten yet so I can grab you something.."
He smirked.I wondered if Mr Knight thought more of this than just me getting him a sandwich."I'll have whatever you're having."He turned around and walked back into the office.
He has no idea that I'm a Vegetarian. I could only imagine the look on his face if I came back with a salad. Isn't it Lucky that I know exactly what he likes.
Standing in the photocopying room,I printed page after page. It was already after 6pm and I was feeling the exhaustion after a sleepless night. In bed with Ryan last night,I just couldn't turn my brain off. I spend the entire night awake waiting for my alarm to sound.
"I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?"I turned around with a fright and saw the man that was standing in the doorway. He walked further into the room holding papers in his hands.
"I don't work here. I'm just here with my Boss for a couple of days."I smiled at him politely, before getting back to my printing.
"Mr Knight,Yes I know!"He stood at the photocopier next to mine and started printing his own work."I'm assisting my boss Mr Blair so I've been in there with them. Mr Knight is quite a guy,What's it like working for him?"
Fucking panty soaking is what I felt like saying. Because although I keep turning him down,i can't deny that the man is easy on the eye.
VERY EASY ON THE EYE!!
"He's um-He's a great Boss! I try not to get on his bad side though."I've come to realise that there's no neutral with Mr Knight. He's either gunning to ruin my day by snapping at me over nothing or he's too forward and flirty. He's a complicated man.
"Well at least you've got something nice to look at. My boss Mr Blair is in his 50s and Balding."Joshua chuckled." Look up Beer Belly in the dictionary and you'll find his name."
I chuckled back."Well Mr Knight might be nice to look at and all,but when it comes to personality I think your Boss might just take the lead."
"I guess you might be right about that." He turned towards me with a smile."I'm Joshua by the way-Joshua Benson."
Joshua Benson was a good looking man in his mid twenties from my guess. He had a short facial stubble and a combed over hairstyle that was perfectly neat. His dress sense was neat and very respectful, better yet he had the personality to go along with it.
The corners of my lips quirked up."It's nice to meet you,Joshua. I'm Jamie Harris."I picked up my now stapled stack of photocopying."I should get these back,It was nice meeting you."
"You too. I'll see you in there,Jamie."He grinned at me,before going back to his work.
The photocopying was set back on my desk before I took the elevator down to get Mr Knight's coffee. Double shot and make it snappy. I stood in line at the coffee shop, amongst all the other late night workers, until finally I had my chance to place my order.
"You again!"I turned my head and Joshua was smiling, only after getting into the line behind me."I'm guessing the day is taking it's toll on you too."
"I was up here on the early morning flight,so I'm hoping we'll be done here soon so I can go back to the hotel."I paid for my order with the Personal Assistant card that Mr Knight had given me.
"I sure hope so."Joshua was handed his order about the same time as mine and we walked together towards the elevator."So my Boss is planning on going to The Nest for drinks after the meeting. It's usually his thing after a day of discussing business."
I pressed the button for the elevator to come down."The Nest-What's that?"
"It's a pretty amazing rooftop bar that has a great view of Seattle."The doors opened and we stepped into the elevator."It's a must when you're in Seattle. You should come,Jamie?"
I shrugged my shoulders."Um-I don't know."Going out with Joshua wasn't my worry-But going out with Mr Knight definitely was. Imagine has much flirt that man has after a couple of scotch on the rocks.
The elevator climbed up floor by floor. "You know by now that I'm Gay,Right? I have no hidden agenda I swear,I just hate these work things so I know it'll be a much better night if I have someone that I can have a decent conversation with."
"Trust me,You're not the problem."The elevator doors opened and the problem was standing in front of me. Mr Knight! He was standing in front of the elevator doors looking between Joshua and I.Was he coming to look for me?
I wasn't even gone that long?
