13 - Chapter Thirteen - Siryn's Point Of View.

It was well into midday when I woke up. Getting up to pee I noticed that we had things in the attached bathroom we didn't have the night before. Stumbling outside I noticed Dakota and Lucio talking and having a drink. My father Leno was the first to notice me. He came over and hugged me.

"Nice to see you after two days of sleep."

"I slept for two days?"

"You did. your body needed to recover."

"No wonder. I thought someone had pranked me. "

Walking over to Lucio I flopped in his lap knocking us both out of the chair and onto the ground.

"I'm happy to see you finally awake."

"I'm happy to see you too," I said, winking and slightly shoving my morning wood against him.

"Really. I didn't raise you like that." I heard my father Leno whine.

Getting off Lucio I helped him up and said sorry for bulldozing him into the dirt as my father called it. Lucio said something dirty that only I seemed to catch and it made my mouth hang open. He made a comment about how he wasn't going to say sorry when he bulldozed me into the mattress. Putting space between me and my alpha mate so I didn't show him how and where to bulldoze me, I went to look for food. opening the fridge I found a bunch of different plates covered in clingfilm with my name printed quite nicely on them. The scent that clung to the plates had me smiling, My mate had done that for me.

Grabbing the food I heated it up and ate it solely enjoying the flavours of the cooked food. I wasn't really sure who had made it but it was pretty darn good. I silently found myself wondering if Lucio knew how to cook for himself. Surely he knew how to cook the basics, But I wasn't sure if I liked the idea of him cooking with his eyes being the way they are. It worried me that he would injure himself and I didn't like the feeling I got knowing that.

Hunting Lucio down later, I smiled to myself, the comb and scissors in my hand. It was time for his new haircut. I could wait to watch all the curly long hair hit the floor, Lucio had a handsome face and I wanted to see more of it open and without the curtain of hair that covered it. Call me picky but i just knew he would look better with short hair. I just knew it.

Checking his office he wasn't there and that seemed odd to me. I didn't figure he would be too far from his office because he never was so I hunted him down some more. I checked the kitchen, the bathrooms, the office, the living room and all the other rooms in the house that I figured he would be in, but I didn't have any luck. It was like he vanished from sight. Backtracking, I double checked all the rooms again and still coulded find him. That was super odd for me. Was he hiding because he knew I wanted to cut his hair?

Sighing I flopped on the couch after dropping the scissors and the comb on the floor. I would have to wait until he came back from wherever he was to cut his hair. It really wasn't a long wait like I thought it would be. Maybe twenty minutes at the most. He immediately sensed me as soon as he came through the door. He stopped and turned to look at me.

“What are you doing?”

“Well, I've eaten and then i went to look for you and couldn't find you, so i flopped on the couch.”

“Why were you looking for me.”

“I wanted to trim your hair, you need a haircut. I want to see more of your face. I think it's handsome and i would like to see more after all.”

“I've been meaning to trim it, But you would probably do a way better job, since you can see what you're doing and I can't. So yes that sounds pretty good actually.”

“I'm glad you are accepting of your haircut, because I kind of thought you wouldn't allow me to cut your hair.”

“I thought about saying no, but you’re right I do need a haircut after all.”

Lucio took my hand in his as I pulled him down the hall quickly to the bathroom. I made him sit on the toilet so I could cut his hair and not have to climb on the counter to reach his damn head. I had him pull off his shirt so that it didn't get covered in hairs and I took a good long look at him. He was gaining weight pretty quickly. Thanks to the wolf genes, we both gained and lost weight pretty freaking quickly in times of stress or need and such. Grabbing the comb off the counter I brushed through his hair once to see what way the curls on his head fell before I combed it again this time to detangle it for cutting after I dampened it, but first things first. The detangling part. His curls were surprisingly very soft and bouncy when you touched them. We had a conversation as I combed his hair throughout untangling it.

“What was one of your favourite memories from childhood?”

“When I was a young boy my father caught a rabbit for us for dinner. He thought he had killed it but it had fainted when he grabbed it and it woke up when he brought it inside to clean and cook it. But first he had left it on the countertop and I can just remember how mad my mother was to have to help chase our dinner around the house. It took so long to catch it too.”

“Your parents sound amazing Lucio.”
