"Hey, you didn't reach out to her, but that doesn't mean you're not into her. You can tell me the truth."

Blake's expression changed drastically. Finally, he let out a big sigh, feeling relieved. "Alright, I admit. I really do want to see her."

He felt that Rosalie might be slightly interested in him. Besides, he was skilled and had a job. So, Rosalie couldn't say he was just lazing around without any decent work.

After they landed, Richard was at the airport to pick Pearl up.

Seeing Blake tagging along behind Pearl, looking all awkward and hard to read, he asked, "What's he doing here?"

"He's here chasing after a girl." Pearl joked and noticed Blake's face turning gloomy.

"What do you mean?"

"Okay, I won't spill your secrets." Pearl shrugged and walked forward. "Just ignore him. He has something to do."

Richard thought it made sense and followed her.

Blake, left trailing behind, was lost in thought. After a bit, he snapped out of it. "How could you guys leave me behind?"

She added, "You've been acting strange ever since you started working on that case. At first, I tried to understand. But now, you're just ignoring me. James, don't you love me anymore?"

"Yeah, you're right. I don't like you anymore."
