"Why don't you like me anymore? Why all of a sudden?" Esther couldn't believe what was happening. She felt like James was hiding something, maybe even lying.

James looked anxious and impatient. He waved and said, "I already told you, stop bothering me. Can you do that?"

Then, he walked away fast, leaving Esther standing there, stunned.

Esther clenched her fists, her eyes filling with tears. "James, you need to explain this to me. You owe me that much."

James had to give her a real reason for not wanting to be with her anymore. Nobody should end things this way.

"I don't have any reasons to give you."

"James!"

Esther felt like she lost something important. "Do you even realize what you're giving up?"

"Let's break up."

Esther couldn't hide her shock. "Excuse me?"

"I said let's break up. Don't you get it?"

Summer grabbed Esther by the shoulders. "Snap out of it, Esther. He dumped you. Do you get that?"

"Yeah, I know." Esther's voice was low but stubborn. "But who says he dumped me? We agreed to split."

"Alright, then. But let me tell you something. Just keep it between us, okay? Lately, another woman has been visiting him, and they seemed really close. I think he's cheated on you."

"He cheated?" Esther never imagined something so ridiculous could happen to her.

James wasn't perfect, but he was honest. He wouldn't cheat, and while Mobius might have cheated on her, she knew James would never do that.
