"Demi, this is for you! I got it especially for you."

A voice sounded beside Demi while she was enjoying the scenic view. She did not even have to turn around to know that it was Thomas speaking to her.

Demi was about to tell him to take it back where it came from when Maria suddenly ran over excitedly.

"Demi, I got you something really special! It's for protection, and it can boost your luck, wealth, and even your academic success. Here, this for you."

Tang Yu looked at the pink bracelet in the open box that Maria held. It did indeed look pretty impressive.

"Why did you buy this? This must have been expensive," Demi said instinctively.

She had sharp ears, and she had overheard Maria asking about the price, while she was enjoying the view earlier. She heard it was about 5,800 dollars. She just hadn't realized Maria was buying it for her.

"Expensive? Not at all! Even the ones in shopping malls that aren't blessed aren't cheap.

"This one's been blessed, and it'll protect you. Here, let me put it on for you," Maria said as she forcefully pulled Demi's hand over and put the bracelet on her hand.

Then, she turned to Thomas and asked, "Thomas, what's up?"

Thomas was also holding a jewelry box with a bracelet inside. Seeing it, Maria instantly guessed that he was planning to give it to Demi too.

She also noticed that the bracelet he had bought for Demi only cost 880 dollars, while the one he got for his sister, Ana, was 4,800 dollars.

The situation only reinforced her belief that the Pitt family weren't made up of good people. The favoritism was blatantly obvious!

"It's nothing," Thomas replied, shaking his head. He kept the jewelry box away and headed toward Ana.

"He's so stingy! Who does he think he's looking down on?" Maria muttered under her breath.

The viewers quickly caught on. "What did Maria say? Why does she look so disgusted and angry?"

"It looks like she's just said the word, 'stingy?'"

"I saw what happened earlier! The bracelet Thomas was planning to give Demi only costs 880 dollars, but the one he got for Ana costs about 4,800 dollars!"

"Isn't Thomas trying to pursue Demi? How can he be so cheap? Let's forget about his status as a celebrity for now. He should not be that stingy even if he was just a rich heir!"

"He must be the type of guy who is obsessed with his sister. He probably puts his sister above everything else. Being his girlfriend or wife would be exhausting."

"This is a charm of Chaze Tower. It's supposed to help with your studies. I heard it's very effective. When you get home, you can place it in the center or southwest corner of your bookshelf," George explained.

Demi was left speechless.

The comment section of the livestream was roaring with laughter.

"Hahaha. George: Once you accept my gift, you'll have to team up with me next time."

"Wow. Don't you think that Demi has suddenly become everyone's favourite?"

"So many people were hating on her just a few days ago, so how did she suddenly become everyone's favourite?"

"As the saying goes, you should only believe something when you've seen it yourself. I think Demi is actually quite nice. She seems to be much better than those overly fragile female celebrities. Anyway, I've decided to become her fan!"

"Me too. I used to dislike her, but after watching this show, I'm convinced that we must've misunderstood her before!"
