Ace couldn’t stand knowing that this incident might really ruin his family completely. Leroy was too young to go through all of these things and he doesn’t deserve to be in this situation.

“And that’s why we are here. I waited for so long to see this day. Many years ago, you didn’t want to see me but here you are to save your son.” Jenny let out a short devious giggled.

“Jenny, I am sorry for everything you have been through. I am so sorry. I know..that I don’t deserve your forgiveness. But if there is anything I can do, or anything you want at all..tell me.” Ace apologized sincerely.

Jenny snorted. “You’ll do anything I want?”

Ace shook his head positively in response to her question. Jenny’s face turned serious as she let her hand holding the pistol to drop down to her side. Ace relaxed a bit by the gesture also hoping that Jenny would ask for a huge sum of money to have a good life. He was ready to give her any amount if she would let go of everything she has against him and his family.

“Marry me, Ace Clark.” Jenny blurted out causing his head to snap up.

Ace looked at her with a shocked expression on his face.

“Marry me, Ace Clark. I want us to continue from where we stopped years ago.” Jenny stated.

“I am now married to another woman. It can’t work out.” Ace replied as he flashed his wedding ring.

Fury crashed over her as she pointed the pistol at Leroy again.

“Please Jenny!” Ace dropped on his knees as he hit the ground hard. “Please don’t shoot my son!” He begged while Leroy didn’t stop crying.

“He is the reason why we can’t be together! I’ll end his life right here, have someone murder your wife in the hospital as we speak and you’ll the left right nothing! You’ll be just like me. Look at me, I can’t have my own child and I am determined to do the same to you!” Jenny laughed deviously.

Her words had tears pulling into his eyes. The thought of losing his family made him weak. “Please Jenny..don’t kill him. I promise to do anything else aside marrying you.” Ace pled.

Jenny twisted her neck to look at him. “You won’t marry me right?! Then we can as well die together!” She faced Leroy to fire the shot at him.

Ace moved to stop her but he heard the gunshot. “Leroy!” He shouted as he pushed Jenny away and she hit the ground hard.

“Freeze! Freeze!” A masculine voice ordered as more footsteps walked into the room.

Ace stood up quickly to see his son as his heartbeat faster. “Leroy...” he mumbled only to see his son still tied to the chair, trembling while Jack was already down on the ground.

The policemen had walked in at the right time to save his son’s life. Jenny was arrested and Jack was dragged up to his feet as he groaned in pains.
