After lunch with Ophelia, Melody returned to Regallo.

She had just walked in when she heard that Andrew had arrived with the board members for a supposed routine meeting.

This didn't concern Melody, so she continued to busy herself with her own work.

However, not long after, a coworker came to inform her to head to the conference room.

When she arrived there, Andrew and the other board members were already there, and Denvin was seated at the head of the table.

Seeing her walk in, Denvin even gestured for someone to pour her a glass of water.

Melody read the room, and the dots immediately connected for her. She obediently took a seat by the side.

"Now that everyone's here, say what you need to say," Denvin said nonchalantly.

Andrew started first. "I've discussed it with the board members. We are all against Regallo Group adding a new philanthropy department. The Regallo Charity Foundation is enough."

"The Regallo Charity Foundation has long since been separated from the Regallo Group. It merely shares a name," Denvin answered flatly.

"They both carry the Regallo name, so there's no difference," Andrew commented before looking at Melody and sneering.

"I don't know why you suddenly started a philanthropy department here at Regallo Group, and even hired new staff because of it, but the entire board is against it."

Krystal was right. Melody had become so bold because she had Denvin supporting her from behind.

Andrew absolutely wasn't going to allow this to continue. He looked at Melody sternly. "Mel, I know you lost your job recently, but things here at Regallo aren't child's play. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

"If you want to work, I can get you a job anywhere else. It's fine even if you want to go back to Jembina hospital, but Regallo isn't a good fit for you."

Andrew had already said this much, and that only showed how adamant he was in this matter.

However, before Melody could even say anything, Denvin tapped the table.

His voice was low as he warned, "Mr. Wardolf, please watch what you say. Regallo is currently under my management. Please refrain from making such decisions about my company's personnel."

Andrew's expression darkened, and it seemed like he was very close to lashing out at Denvin.

Once again, Denvin reminded him, "Regallo Group's philanthropy department and the Regallo Charity Foundation are two completely different things.

"The Charity Foundation is working with Celestial Group, but as you know, Regallo and Celestial are competitors. There's no way I'll allow Sebastian Grant to be named as one of Regallo's partners."

Throughout the whole meeting, Andrew had been constantly rendered speechless by Denvin.
