Returning to the hotel, I booked a flight back to my hometown for tomorrow.

Before bed, I scrolled through Louis's Instagram.

There was a photo of three people at an amusement park, with the young girl from the wedding as the female lead.

My son Edwin was nestled affectionately in Louis's arms, sharing a three-colored ice cream with the young girl.

The caption read: [Son wants a new mom.] Looking at the post with no likes, I understood.

This was posted by Louis specifically for me to see, visible only to me.

Every time we argued, he would post something like this related to our son on Instagram.

Warning me to bow my head for the sake of the child.

And each time, I would comply as he wished, actively placing my dignity under his feet for him to trample.

Thinking about it now, from the moment I risked my life to give birth to the child, Louis had firmly grasped control over me.

Unfortunately, I won't fall for this anymore.

I liked the post and then put down my phone to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Louis's call woke me up.

"Eliza, what kind of mother are you?"

"Don't you know Edwin waited for you for a long time?"

"He's still crying now!"

I rubbed my eyes and replied casually:

"Oh, then help me apologize to him."

The voice on the other end of the phone paused for two seconds, then Louis laughed coldly.

"Eliza, do you believe I can make it so you never see Edwin again?"
