"Caspian, if you had any sense at all, you'd know who he is!"

"You'd better stop showing off here, your mistress is waiting for you!"

Caspian looked back at Wren, who was standing in the rain with a pitiful expression.

"T'll deal with you when we get home!"

After leaving this threat, Caspian glared at us and turned to walk towards Wren.

"How did you end up marrying someone like that?" Lex asked, still as direct and to the point as ever, his words cutting deep.

I shook my head and laughed bitterly, "I was blind back then, thought I was the only one."

"Only now do I understand, I was the only one because the true love hadn't appeared yet."

Lex drove me home, and we chatted about many things along the way.

We talked about everything from our families to trending tourist spots, tactfully avoiding the topic of my marriage.

As I was getting out of the car, Lex suddenly called out to me.

"Willow, he doesn't deserve you."

"The Willow I know is a carefree woman who can fall out of love as easily as she falls in, who leaves without hesitation!"

I suddenly smiled.

"I know."

We grew up together, and Lex knows my personality too well.

He's afraid I might waver and cling to the relationship, ultimately ending up hurt all over.

So he deliberately provoked me a bit.

I took out my key, about to open the door, only to find that the key wouldn't turn.

I could hear Caspian and Wren's conversation from inside.
