"Don't overthink. They often talk about you. You're doing well now."

What happened back then was traumatic for him. But as time went by, it became something not worth mentioning.

He always believed that she had her reasons; reasons that were hard for her to explain.

Frederick hoped that one day, she would open up and explain why she left, as well as the contract.

"How is Grandma? Is she physically healthy? I miss her so much but I haven't had the time to see her yet! If you have time, accompany me to visit her!"

Along the way, Danica would talk to herself from time to time. But, most of the time Frederick would just say "yes" at the end of her every sentence. Especially when it came to his grandmother, his mood became complicated.

Fortunately, the car soon stopped in front of the door of East Bannpool.

In the private room of the nightclub, several men were present. It was the first time that the atmosphere was a little awkward and cold. They were all swirling a glass of red wine in their hands and occasionally glanced at their phones.

After a moment of stillness, Carson broke the silence. "Hey, what do you think of this?"

Looking around, he finally fixed his gaze on Trevor. "Trevor, you have the most say in this!"

Knowing that he was talking about Frederick and Danica, Trevor put his glass down and spoke, "No one has a say in his business."

No one could make a decision for him except for himself. The only possible person was probably his grandma!

For so many years, no one had been able to make a decision for him!

They nodded at the same time and Willy added, "Yes."

Carson swirled the glass in his hand lightly and said again, "Let me rephrase. Do you think they can continue to be friends?"

They looked at each other but did not say anything.

Raising his hand, Carson spoke again.

"Well, that's right. Let's talk about it in private. What happens in this room stays in this room. We are just exchanging our thoughts. If you feel that they can get back together again, raise your hand!"

After looking around, no one raised a hand. Wyatt and Willy said at the same time, "I quit!"

After another round, still, no one raised a hand.

This time, Wyatt and Willy were a little surprised.

"Trevor, how could you not have hope for them? Frederick had no other woman for the past few years. Are your family's rules that strict? What if, just what if—"

Wyatt paused right there and continued after thinking for a while.

"What if your first woman has an accident or something? What if she was ugly or she can't bear children or has other disabilities? Would you rather suffer all your life to stay with a woman that you don't love?"

Meanwhile, Alicia was driving on the road. When she saw the hotel for the appointment, her phone rang. "East Bannpool? Okay, I know... I'll be there right away!"

The person Alicia was supposed to meet had gone there. She was familiar with East Bannpool. She didn't give it much thought and began to hit the pedal.

Soon, she arrived at East Bannpool. She was relatively familiar with the place and reached the third floor in no time.

Rooms with names were no ordinary room. It must be a relatively high-end private room. Alicia walked along as she glanced at the room names.

Fleur Hall? Crescent Hall...

It should be somewhere here!

With one quick glance, Alicia was very sure that she saw Trevor and the woman who had just been with Frederick!

She knew that Frederick must be one of those figures in the crowd!
