Alicia got angered again after she had finally calmed herself down. She couldn't take it anymore - why was everything against her that day?

She then turned around and rushed back once again, her heart filled with anger. "Come on, mistake me for her once again! Then, give me a fake compliment that I've done plastic surgery and become prettier!" she thought to herself angrily.

She stormed furiously all the way until she reached the end of the path before stopping, a thin layer of sweat forming on her forehead.

As she paced back and forth on the street quietly, she came to a stop again after twenty minutes. Although she still felt irritated, she had already calmed down a considerable amount.

"What a terrible day!"

She had planned to go home originally but she inexplicably resisted it again. She looked around and saw that her current location was not far from the arcade arena, therefore she drove to the arena and took out 50 dollars from her purse.

"I will go home once I finish this."

As she walked, she kept playing with the coins in her hand.

After wandering around in the game hall, as Marshall was about to leave, he raised his eyes and saw Alicia coming in with her head drooping all the way. His hard work had indeed paid off. He often came here to see if he would meet Alicia by luck and he had finally met her!

He almost missed her!

He decided not to leave and walked toward Alicia in big strides.

Just as Alicia was calculating how long she could last with her current tokens, a black figure suddenly blocked her way. She instinctively moved aside and the black shadow followed her as well. She then moved aside once more and found that it did the same again. Alicia frowned and felt a surge of anger coming up. After she looked up, she paused.

"Doctor Clark?"

"What a coincidence! You can call me Marshall when we are not in the hospital. Are you here to play with the clawing machine again?" Looking at the direction of her footsteps, Marshall could probably guess where was she heading.

"Yeah!"

As they were walking, Alicia asked, "Marshall, how is my father doing recently? Can we start to schedule for his surgery?"

"His blood pressure is still a little unstable. I plan to give him some treatment again these few days and look at his situation. If the condition is still unstable, the application for surgery will not be approved. If there is an accident, the patient will be in danger. I have to observe for a few more days but don't worry, I will definitely try my best."

"Thank you, Marshall! There's no hurry! I just hope that my dad can get better!"

The both of them chose a clawing machine each and started playing. "Oh, that was close!"

"Go left just a bit more, whoops!"

Alicia jumped up anxiously when she got to the exciting parts, immersing herself in the game, and allowing herself to temporarily let go of unhappy things.

On the other hand, Marshall was looking at her casually with a deep smile in his eyes.

When Alicia came back to her senses, her pockets were already empty. Marshall raised his hand and handed over a few game tokens. Alicia didn't realize that he had already handed her game tokens several times. She grabbed the tokens and continued to fight for the doll excitedly.

At that moment, her phone was buzzing away in her bag.

"Which one do you have your eyes on? I will get it for you!"

Alicia turned her head and glanced at him. "No way, I want to get it myself today."

She pointed at a medium- sized frog with gigantic eyes. She stated, "I want that."

It had big eyes like her.

Just as Alicia was about to insert the token, Marshall grabbed her wrist and said, "Rest for a while first, take a breather. I'll give you a tip later, I promise you will be able to catch it."

Marshall turned around and went to buy two beverages, letting her have her pick.

"Thank you!"

Alicia chose a soda but she couldn't open the bottle cap after trying for a while and she ended up looking so upset.
