Breaking All the Rules novel Chapter 15

Nick comes in wearing a pair of black briefs. "Sorry, Kamdyn, I had to cover him up but I'll let you have another look later." He gives me a wink before sitting down on the other sofa. Ian, Aaron and I all start laughing but we don't warn him about the couch.

"What?" Nick asks confused.

"Nothing, Man." Ian says.

"So, we're thinking about having a party at our house, Kamdyn you and your sorority are invited but that's it so don't tell anyone else. We don't want it to get out of hand like last time." Aaron tells me.

Last time a bunch of people showed up and the cops were called. They all got into a lot of trouble and their couch was pissed on. Someone even jumped out the window so the guys had to pay to replace it and buy a new couch, that was last semester and they're just now throwing another party. "Okay, I'll tell them not to tell anyone. When is it?"

"Friday."

"Make Jess come too." Nick tells me. "But she can't bring that tool she's hooking up with. Who is he anyway?"

"She's not seeing him anymore."

He smiles. "Make sure she gets here, and I'll make sure she comes later." He gives me a

wink.

I laugh. "You're disgusting. I'll tell her but no promises."

"Sounds like Nicky is in love." Aaron teases. They call him that because Jess does. Jess loves calling guys by names they hate but when she calls Nick that he doesn't seem to mind it.

"That chick is hot." Nick says not denying it. "She's even hotter beneath me. You wouldn't understand because you've never hit that." He stops and thinks. "Have you?"

Aaron chuckles. "Wouldn't you like to know."

No, he hasn't. Jess has only slept with one guy from the baseball team and that guy is Nick. "Has she?" He looks at me and I shake my head 'no'. I watch as he visibly relaxes.

"Dude, you got it bad. That chick is going to chew you up and spit you back out." Aaron says.

"She can chew me up all she wants." Nick tells him.

Aaron snorts. "Good luck with that one."

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" I say stepping up to defend my best friend, sure she's slept with multiple guys but she's not a total slut. She only sleeps with single guys who aren't ready for a relationship. She'd never lead a guy on and she always makes them use protection.

"Just that she's not the relationship kind. She's the hit it and quit it kind." Aaron explains. "Every guy knows that. Well every guy except Nicky."

"Who said anything about a relationship?" Nick asks irritated. "She's a good hook up.

That's all."

"Hey, she can be in a relationship. She just hasn't found the right guy yet." I tell him.

She's not the hit it and quit it kind. Any guy would be lucky to have Jess.

"Well Nick isn't him." Aaron says.

"He could be." I say even though Jess says otherwise. There's something there between them. I just know it. Though it could be wishful thinking because I would really like it if the two of them got together.

"Yeah right." Aaron says.

"You trying to say I can't get her to date me?" Nick asks sounding like he's going to take it on as a challenge.

"It's because I have a big dick isn't it?" Nick says.

"And you blew it." I tell him. "The offer is off the table."

All three guys laugh at that. "You didn't stand a chance anyway, Man." Aaron tells him. We all laugh. I've never played cupid before, but I'm so tempted to try with those two. I think they'd be really good together.

Jess refused to come to their party at first which is weird because she never passes up a party. The entire baseball team is going to be there, and most of them are hot, so why would she want to pass that up? I kept begging her though and eventually wore her down. She finally gave in after three days of me asking her just like I knew she would. I can be annoying when I need to be.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." She whins looking in the mirror. She is wearing a short black mini skirt and a purple tank top.

"I can't believe I had to keep annoying you over it. I mean hello, hot baseball players." I say curling my hair. I've never had to beg her to go to a party before but I'm glad she agreed, it's always more fun when Jess is around. I curl the last piece of hair, satisfied with how it looks I unplug the curling iron.

"Yeah but Nick will be there." She frowns.

"So?" I look at my reflection, I'm wearing short jean shorts and white halter top that shows off my belly button. Maybe I should've worn a skirt like Jess, I'm sure Ian would be happy with that.

"So he's even more annoying than you." She sighs.

"What is with you? I know for a fact he has a big penis I've seen it more times than I'd care to admit, it's not like you to turn that down."

"He's.....I don't know. I mean yeah that part I like about him but....If he tries to cuddle with me I'm punching him in the face and running and don't ever ask me to go back over there again."

I laugh just imagining her punching him in the face is hilarious. She's short like me, maybe five foot five and Nick is around the same height as Ian which is over six foot. "He'd have to be lying down for you to even reach his face."

"Oh shut up." She sticks her tongue out at me. "You think I'm kidding but I'm not. I'll do it, it wouldn't be the first time I've punched a guy in the face."
