"It was really great doing business with you, Mr Damien."

Mr Clint shook hands with him the last time. The two were on their feet. Damien was really eager to go and check out the whole estate, especially the Eagle's tower.

He didn't for once forget about the girls, his queens who were still on the island. He hadn't even checked on them that day. He felt in his spirit that something might go or be wrong with them.

Yet he couldn't just get out of that place that moment. Plus, he didn't plan on getting a quick look around the tower. He wanted to enjoy the view too.

He knew that that choice would open several conditions and risks which he wouldn't mind to embrace.

"Here. This is my card. If by any chance you visit Diamond Crescent, you could give me a call. I'll make sure to entertain you to the best of my capabilities."

Damien took the card from Mr Clint.

"Diamond Crescent... is that where you live?"

"Not really. But I do have a golf field there, which I bought last year. Since I bought the field, I have been so much infatuated with golf that I had no choice but to buy a small house around there."

For a moment, Damien thought that the man was flaunting his wealth and trying to impress him. But at the other look, the man had a smiley face which ridiculed every of the odd thoughts Damien was nursing.

Plus, Damien does have a relative going to college around that place. A relative who has been really nice to him all his life. That could be a chance to see her.

"Sure, I'll try to give you a call. If I don't lose the card. In short, I will keep it dearly."

"That'll be kind of you."

They both laughed.

"Sorry, Mr Damien. I would had loved to show you around, but I have to be somewhere else. I'll leave you to Miss Elisa. I'm sure she would do a good job."

Damien nodded and Mr Clint left after they had shook hands again.

"Firstly, I'll like for you to discard all the bots in this hotel. It's madness. How would there be unemployed people out there who would do anything to make ends meet, and some rich dummies waste all the money ought to be distributed to the poor on some fucking creepy programmed bunch of metals?! Only for the bots to do the job of the same poor people? That's more than madness. Even Der knows better... she wouldn't think so lowly."

He looked up at Elisa.

"You know sometimes, I wonder if some humans really live up to the name given to them. Some humans should be called wolf pro, or cat pro... cause of the way they think."

"Sir... sir..."

Elisa stuttered when he took a pause.

"You mean that I could be the manager of this company?"

Damien's countenance fell. Of all the things he had just said, was that the only thing she picked? The only thing she heard?

"Does it make you so happy to be the manager of this company?!"

She dropped on her knees, almost ready to grapple at Damien's feet. He could tell in all sincerity that she was very serious. Everything about her at that moment pointed at that.

"I will do anything to have it sir. I don't mind to be your slave. I will do my job perfectly. I won't let you down if you give me the job. Ever! I swear on my life."

Damien looked away from her. He walked away from her towards the door. She was still on her knees. She dropped her head in disappointment when she expected a response in vain.

Though Damien did know that Boldyville Estate was a top-notch building, and the hotel was the best across the state and country. Yet he didn't know that someone could say all those just to be the manager. Just?!

PROBABLY SHE REALLY MEANT WHAT SHE SAID EARLIER. PERHAPS SHE REALLY WAS TIRED OF LEANING ON COLTON. FROM THE LOOK OF THINGS, COLTON DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A NICE PERSON WHO WOULD SPEAK NICELY TO ANYONE.

"Let's see how the recruitment of new faces to the hotel goes first. If they turn out to be hardworking folks, then you can claim the position."

She jumped on her feet and ran towards. She hugged him from behind. When she realized what she had just done,

"I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to ---"

Damien got the door and stepped out of the room.

"Huh?"

She stood there wondering.

"He doesn't seem like a bad guy. Even though I can't prove the source of his wealth yet. Perhaps he's the son of an ultra rich man who lives away from the media, but doesn't want to admit it. Yet, he seems like a very nice person. Perhaps I was wrong about him all along."

She got the door and stepped into the hallway. She saw him about to get into an elevator and ran after him. She squeezed her way in. Damien almost laughed.

She seemed funny and interesting.

"That reminds me. If you are choosing staff for the hotel, make sure to choose people from a very humble background. Those who have the qualifications but have never gotten the opportunity. They will cherish the job. Compared to those born with silver spoon in their mouths."

"Alright sir."

They both stepped out of the elevator. When he turned to her, she stopped walking.

"Is there any room in the hotel where you could lock someone... I mean, like a detention area?"

"Absolutely sir."

He paused for a while, dropping his head. When he looked up at her again, he could see the curiosity.

"If you can lock Shelton there before I return, then the process of you being the manager might be quickened."

"Mr Shelton... what did he ---"
