"Where is the boss? Where is the owner of this hotel!"

Came the voice at the door of the office of the manager of the hotel. The man couldn't enter into the office. No one had the access card of the office save the manager herself. Elisa.

Damien was now on his knees, holding unto one of the legs of the politician. They were both at the door of the office, awaiting the judgement of the manager, whether or not she would open the door.

Soon enough the door opened. Elisa's face went first to the man who was being so loud.

"Please sir, lower your voice. We don't want to inconvenience the other guests. Especially, the Prime Minister of Louher Region is here. We'll attend to your concerns. Please come in and tell us what happened."

"Don't give me the policy shit! I won't rest until I lay this crazy lad off."

He retorted. Elisa couldn't help but look down at the CRAZY LAD whom the man had referred to; the essence of his rage and anger.

Her jaws dropped when she saw who it was. She was so stunned that words eluded her. Her eyes widened, her lips paved. It was more than conspicuous that she was finding it really hard to believe.

"Mr D---"

Damien winked at her and she had no choice but to hold the words back. Though shocked, she was quick-witted and smart. She couldn't dwell on Damien's nuance for long. She had no slightest clue what he was up to.

"I am not bringing down my voice until I get to speak with the owner of this hotel. Do you have an idea who I am?"

It was obvious that Elisa was tired of standing at the door. All her effort to bring the loud politician into her office had fallen down the drain. She heaved a sigh. Damien was keeping track of her reaction.

She should be mad at the man for breaking one of the most important rules of the hotel; no noise. But she looked collected, her face not for once scare of the smile.

"You have every right to be mad as a customer. I'm sure you understand what I mean by mad?"

"That's not important."

The man shoved. Damien sensed something strange in the reaction of the man. He could sense that all the man wanted to do was meet with the owner. Given by the position and his status as a politician, he could had had Damien beaten up if he so wanted.

Damien's knees were not really aching. He had been made to do worst than kneel when he used to a pauper. He was trying to kill two birds with a stone. You'd find out real soon.

He watched as Elisa continued,

"But you don't have the right to demand meeting with the owner of the company, which obviously is why you are doing this!!!"

"You crazy wench! How dare you talk to me in such manner? Do you know who I am?"

Elisa nodded,

"Of course, Mr Van Buston. You are running for Mayor."

"Do you know what that means? If I become the Mayor, do you know what I'll do to you and this hotel...?"

"I'm glad you said, 'if'. Plus, it would take more than several presidents of the world to take down Boldyville, which of course you know."

Damien couldn't take his eyes off Elisa. He was in awe of the way she was handling the matter. He didn't think she could be that calm under pressure. He was more than stunned.

"How dare you crazy wench!!!"

Mr Buston made to slap her but he felt his hand hanging in the air. He had moved his hand so quickly, so he had no idea how his palm was defecting to carry out the task.

What was more confusing was the fact that Elisa had both her hands down. It was quite strange. He had no choice but to arc his head.

Towering over him was Damien, with a fat glare stalking his face.

"Let go of my hand, you riff-raff!!!"

Mr Politician tried to fight himself free but he just couldn't. Damien noticed a set of eyes burning the side of his face. He looked, it was Elisa. She had a shade of blush on both her cheeks.

DUMMY, THIS IS NOT THE TIME.

He made his eyes glow at her and she snapped back to reality.

"The owner of the company does not really have time to sit in one place."

YEA THAT'S RIGHT! TELL HIM THAT I'M NOT AROUND.

"But you are quite lucky to see him today."
