Damien took the Nether Camera function down. He leaned back into the chair and tossed his face towards the ceiling. He shut the doors of his eyes and pursed his lips. Then freed them,

"I don't see any need to fight for her anymore. She has taken the law into her own hands."

He had just finished watching what transpired between Elisa and the rest of the girls.

"But it seems like I have been quite lax on these girls. Now that they feel they can do whatever they like, that article was just the beginning. Imagine that sly Lisa making a recording."

He sighed. He shook his head slowly.

"What should I do with them? They are proving to be difficult by the day, and that would make things difficult for the lot of us to get along."

He paused for a while.

"I thought getting back to Vegas would smoothen things out a bit, but it seems like it tends to bring out the crooked part of them to life."

He stood up.

"Of course they should be free to do whatever they think right. But it can never be at the detriment of my own company! Not at the detriment of my hotel and investment."

He picked up the glass of white wine on the stool and walked towards the glass view of the apartment where he could sse a generous view of the fountain which was seated in the heart of the hotel.

"Things will become tough for all of us as time goes by. if they keep on going at this rate, with this same energy, things would keep going south. And they would have themselves, only themselves to blame."

He took in a deep breath first before putting the glass to his lips to take a sip of the wine. He savored the smell before the taste.

"This tastes heavenly."

He admitted.

"This is quite a huge space. I haven't had the time to appreciate the beauty of this magnificent work of art. I really need to know or speak with the architect. I should hand some new projects to him."

He took another sip. There was a soothing feeling which came with every sip. It was as though it was meant to be. In that manner, at that particular point in time.

"That's not the most important thing. It's by the way. Let's see what the system has to offer. What are the new things that came with the update? I haven't had the time to check it out. As soon as the party and introduction is over, then I can resume ---"

He phone began to buzz.

"Who the hell is calling at this critical moment? "

[Ping! Mathew calling.]

He didn't have to bring out his phone to know who was calling. The system was connected to his phone and could reflect on whichever activity was going on in the phone.

WHAT DOES THAT FOOL WANT?

"Answer."

He ordered and the call went through.

"Boss... Boss... how could do you do something like that? I was in the middle of a date. How could you change the date of the party overnight? This is a formal thing. This is a super big deal! Parties like these are planned six months ahead. It was enough that we had to shift it to two weeks... but overnight? Don't you think this is..."

Damien couldn't put the phone to his ear. Mathew was too loud. So loud that it could hurt his eardrum.

When the noise died out, he put the phone back to his ear. Then he noticed something interesting;

He didn't have to put the phone away in the first place. As soon as Matthew's loud voice came, the system had corrected the pitch and made it normal.

WOW. INTERESTING.

Damien was loving every little detail of the update of the system. He knew that there were so many other things that he didn't know yet. He wanted to find out quickly. He couldn't wait to end this call.
