Daddy novel Chapter 33

Rey woke up. However, he still needs to be observed by the doctor. I've been here for four days. Somehow my brother became very close to me. As well as Tita and Rey. I also called daddy yesterday, I know our time difference but I wanted to try if he's still not busy. He didn't answer or called me back, I guess he still mad. I sigh.

Kael's scared of hospital so we just skyped when Rey probably woke up. Rey was so emotional seeing me and Kael. I thought it would be awkward and all but it turn out great.

It's a good thing that Tita has her things ready because it looks like they can really last in the hospital. I also don't have anything to do at home because daddy isn't here. I did plan on taking a flight after Rey's all good. I don’t want us to get angry.

I really miss him. Even though I'm angry with him, I still miss him.

I called him again and I was so happy and relief because this time he answered it.

"Hello?" I said on the other line. Walang sumagot. "Hello?"

"Who is this?" asked the woman on the other line. I have to look my screen again if I dialed the wrong number. I didn't.

"Who are you? What are you doing in Marco's phone?" mariin kong sinabi. Maybe it's just his secretary. A new one.

"I'm his girlfriend. We just got back together sweetie. What do you wanna tell him? His still in the bed sleepi--"

"Put him on the phone right fucking now,"

"Ok hold on ... So impatient." I can imagine herself smiling right now. My face warmed with anger. "Hon. Hon." call the woman. She giggled.

"Who's calling?" I heard him say in the other line.

"I don't know ..." the woman laughed again, as if tickled. "Just wait someone's on the pho--" the call ended.

I was dumbfounded for a second before I dialed his number again but he didn't answer.

"Ate?" Kael asked. I looked at him. "Sister why?"

Why is that? Why is that?

"Are you feeling bad sister? Shall we continue in the park?" worried etch on his adorable face. I nodded.

Bakit ganun yun? I dialed his number again and he ended it right away. My heart sank.

"Ate, are you okay? Nothing bad happened to papa, right?" Kael hug me. I immediately shook.

"Your dad is okay. Come on. Let's go out ..." my nanny. Still processing what happened.

"Ate. I used to be stupid there," Kael said. "Don't you like quack-quack? You haven't eaten before." he said sadly.

"O-ok Kael. I just feel a little bad. What else do you want?" I ask. Kael is such a smart boy. He was a very observant child.

"Ate yu-- HALAAA YUNG CELLPHONE MO ATE!" Kael shouted. The sauce I brought was thrown at me. To my shock I could not react. "Ate hinalbot yung cell phone mo!" Kael's confused cry.

The snatcher is already running. Even the saleswoman was nervous. "Mother, are you okay?" worried question of the salesman. I nodded.

"Please help. The snatcher snatched my sister's cellphone!" Kael calls the tricycle driver. I immediately shook.

"Don't be Manong. It's ok. The important thing is we're safe," I said.

"Ate ..." Kael cried.

"Why? Are you okay? Are you in pain? Where?" I asked confused. I immediately scratched his body and looked for any wounds or what.

"Ateee ..." Kael cried.
