He leaned into her and put his lips on her. But just as he put his lips on her she pushed him off her harshly which made him lose his balance and fall down on the floor. At the same time came a loud cry of his father to ask him to come downstairs fast.

Christian was too shocked to react to anything. How could the woman he loves can throw him off her. How dare she deny him.

His anger was visible in his eyes. His body started shaking in anger because of her stupid antics. But she wasn't calm also. There was nothing she could see at the moment other than feel betrayed by the man she loves so dearly.

Both were staring at each other angrily. Both were hurt.

Just as Christian got up to give a piece of mind to her, his father's echoing voice stopped him from taking another step towards her.

He glared at her hard before stomping his feet in anger and leaving the room.

He ran down the stairs fast and went to his father to ask the reason of his desperate voice. His father along with some of their best warriors was already standing there waiting for him. He felt confused.

"What's the matter, dad?"

"We are attacked by Raven Pack." His father replied fast. "They penetrated our first boundary of warriors on the pack's territory and now they're heading towards the second one. I've sent one brigade of warriors but the matter is much worse then I thought it would be."

He listened to his dad intently. The safety of his pack was his first priority so he instantly started making plans to stop them even before his father could complete his sentence.

On the basis of the situation there was only one way to stop them.

"I need to go and stop them." He said to his father hastily. There was no way he was losing his pack to some motherfuckers.

The decision was made. He told his father to keep the people of pack house safe while he is going to finish the war.

His mind was playing flashes of his love, his Ava in front of his eyes but he was too angry with her to go and talk to her. His ego stopped him from even inform her of his departure. His mind was foggy with his anger and ego.

Kai along with two of his most trusted warriors were appointed to guard the pack house and keep the people of his pack safe. Most importantly his Ava.

No way in hell he was going to talk to her until she asks for forgiveness from him.

So he left. On the war. Never looking back to see how she felt about his sudden departure and not even saying a goodbye to her.

Now its a month since he left on the war and she is waiting for his come back to give him the good news she has for him.

She is pregnant.
