“This is why I didn’t want to worry you.” Lennon turned to her, looking serious, “The kidnappers are powerful. I think they targeted me.” Lennon’s eyebrows creased slightly, and after a pause, he looked severe.“Last night, on my way to get you, I got a call saying Dalia had been killed.” 

Mariela’s eyes widened, her face showing fear. 

“After we found her, we tried to discover who was behind it, but before we got any information, she was killed.” 

Mariela was terrified. 

Dalia was guilty, and she also hated Dalia.
