A young man, who had joined the law firm on the same day as Gia did, quit after he got scolded by Ewa twice. 

This internship was important to Gis, so she couldn’t quit as that young man had. 

In other words, she couldn’t leave the law firm until April next year. 

Mariela asked, “Why did she scold you? 

“The dient of a divorce case is difficult to deal with, and it is challenging to communicate with her? 

Gia then sighed with a gloomy look. “I contacted her for evidence, but she was uncooperative. Ms. Vazquez said that I was not the best communicator. The client wasn’t satisfied with the indictment I had written, and she wanted 50 thousand dollars as reparations for emotional trauma in her case, 

“The problem was that her case had nothing to do with emotional trauma, and this requirement would increase court costs. She ignored my explanations and insisted that I should add her request to the indictment. I had never seen anything like it, so I asked Ms. Vazquez for advice. Ms. Vazquez began to call me foolish and useless. 

“Ms. Vazquez personally communicated with the client. Her explanation to the client was the same as mine. Later, she wrote an indictment, but the client was unsatisfied with it and made many unreasonable requests. 

“I had warned Ms. Vazquez that the client was difficult to deal with, but she didn’t take my words seriously. She saw me as a bad 

communicator. She vented her anger on me after she had been irritated by the client. She called me into her office and threw a tantrum at me. I tried to explain myself, but she saw it as a retort and scolded me again.” 

Speaking, Gia started crying with a grievance. 

Mariela handed over a few tissues and said, “There, there. Do you like to be my assistant? I can talk with Lyla about it.” 

Gia raised her head with a jerk and asked, “Can you? 

“Of course. You are just an intern, so there can be a change in your mentor.” 

Hearing Mariela, Gia smiled through tears. Thank you, Marie.” 

“Cheer up. No more tears.” 

“Um.” 

After dinner, Mariela got up to pay the bill. 

A few steps away from the table, she saw a man and a woman coming. 

“Mariela?” The man greeted Mariela with a smile in his eyes. 

Mariela looked at the man with confusion in her eyes and asked, “Who are you?”
