Darryl breathed a sigh of relief.“OK.” 

Hanging up the phone, Darryl glanced down at Fiona beside him.“Awake?” 

Fiona’s face still carried weariness, and her eyes were half–squinted as she said, “Hmm.” 

Because she had just woken up, Fiona’s voice was incredibly soft, immediately igniting Darryl’s desire. 

He bent down and planted a kiss on Fiona’s lips.“Darling, one more time?” 

As soon as Fiona heard his words, she instantly woke up. She grabbed the blanket and covered herself, her eyes wary.”Go away!”

Darryl chuckled and raised an eyebrow.“I didn’t get drunk last night. I was sober.”

Darryl said slowly, “Honey, I was very sober. I knew what I was doing. I had already realized my feelings for you a long time ago. I have just been restraining and enduring. Last night, when you called for a male model and leaned into his arms, I just couldn’t bear it anymore.”
